The only big prize I have heard of anyone winning on this site was the Cinderella's castle stay. I think they were awarded a gift card/basket in the amount the suite would cost. Or I could have just read that on the rules.

I haven't heard that, I think that was a rule if they won the castle stay by postcard. You can have the castle if you can get yourself to WDW by the date they want you there otherwise they have to give you the money or gift card in comparison to the cost of the one nite stay.

Well, let me make you feel a little better....
I've sent in about 100 postcards and we have won nothing. Not a thing.
I'd say you are doing pretty well!

I know the feeling! DD (mid 20's) and I have been sending them since the beginning of January..nothing..nada.. not a thing. Then this Monday the mailman brought ME a box from Disney. I got ears... mine were from Disneyland. Then today, DD got a notice to pick up a parcel at the post office after 3pm. When the postal guy gave the box she called out.. "Mom! It says "Dream Squad"; and she starts tearing into the box. Yup.. just like a little kid. She got ears, too..her's are from DisneyWorld. It was funny, though. three postal employees at the counters and they all had to look.. and she modeled them and the people in line "oohed and ahhhed."
They came at a good time for her..her college graduation is Saturday..so it really is a "dream" kind of weekend.

My son got a package from Disney today!! We went to the post office to pick it up and he won a lanyard with 2 pins. I stopped sending in postcards a couple of months ago so this caught me off guard!

I got a card in the mail today that I have a parcel from Disney that I need to sign to pick up. I have to wait until 9:00a.m. in the morning. I'll never sleep tonight. I am hoping for the ears for my DS8 to wear on our Thanksgiving trip. I'll let you know tomorrow what I got.

As for bending and breaking the rules, I don't think Disney really cares. I am sure they don't care if you send more than one postcard per day -- there is no way they are keeping track of that! I sent all mine on one day (15 cards) and then I won three ears in one day. I'm sure they lump all the cards form a week or a month or some length of time together and do the drawings all together. No way are they drawing every day and then tossing the cards out. Keep sending in those cards and enjoy the prizes! I'm hoping for pins and lanyards next!

Ok everyone - I won WDW Mickey Ears! Yeah! My DS8 just Loved them and had to tell the Post master all about them. He was so cute wearing them and talking all about WDW and his next trip to the world in Nov. Wow I think I have created a future WDW cast member. He will tell everyone that when he grows up he's going to work at Disney World.

For those of you that have won once or more or never for that matter. How many postcards did you send before you won? How long between mailing the postcards and receiving a prize? We have a sept trip planned and I thought my son-5 would enjoy filling out postcards (mostly just putting the stamps on) this summer. Is it worth it?

I won today!!!!! I was soooooooo happy and jumping around the house, you would have thought I just won a million Dollars or something! LOL

I won the Mickey Mouse Ears, they say DisneyLand Resort on them! I love them so much!!!!

Forgive me it this has been posted elsewhere - I just wanted to make sure everyone knows that the cost of mailing a postcard has gone up from 0.24 to 0.26 (not just 1st class mail to 0.41). I discovered this the other day when I was on the USPS website trying to buy more Disney stamps and saw that the cost had gone up. I have a few postcards, I am now expecting back because I didn't have enough postage.

I almost forgot to post here! DH won a pair of DL Ears! Between the two of us we've won 3 DL lanyards, one pair of WDW ears and one pair of DL ears. I was tempted to buy more postcards, but other people should win too!!! Good luck everyone!!!

Just received a set of ears. So far I have won 1 DL lanyard and 1 set of DL ears. My son has yet to win anything. Winning DL stuff is nice since we are going there in 2 weeks!

I have been sending in postcards since January but lately I haven't been really good about it.

I only bought two batches of postcards.

I was so excited when the postman came to our door today. We won four sets of ears. I didn't think people actually won things like this at least not me. I am tempted to buy more postcards to try to win that DVC, but I am so excited to recieve the ears that I will be happy with my winnings and give someone else a chance.

I just received the peach notice from the post office today. It is a certified parcel so I hope it is a Disney Surprise when I go to pick it up tomorrow!

We recieved the peach slip yesterday and I was able to stop and pick up the package and the lovely postal clerk handed me THREE boxes

My oldest son, youngest son and DH (the unDisney one) each won a set of DL ears! Middle son and I are still crossing our fingers for lanyards.

We, well make that me , are so excited to have won something!

Now if we only were planning a vacation to make use of them...

I was just wondering: Has anyone entering via postcard won anything besides ears, pins, lanyards, etc?

Not that I wouldn't be thrilled to get the Dream Mouse Ears! I was just curious, since I hadn't heard anything of the sort.
