Anyone else having bad weather tonight? We have had every kind of warning you could have but a blizzard tonight. We have gotten 3 to 5 inches of rain already and they have said it could be 6 to 10 by the time it ends sometime during the night/morning. I am babysitting my nephews tonight and they are afraid of it all. They are showing another line approaching soon. Hopefully it won't be too much longer.

We had 4 3/4" of rain last night by the time I went to bed. It took DS over a half hour to get home. Roads were closed everywhere and he kept getting detoured. He said they sold out of every shop vac, sump pump and hose they had at his Menards. Lots of flooded basements. We are expecting more today, possibly another 2 inches maybe more. We are lucky and live higher up than some of our neighbors. Our sump pump hasn't even gone on. I have to work today and I'm thinking the mall is not going to be very busy.

We just figured up our gas for the 4th trip! Whew! I wish something could be done about our gas prices, it may hamper my future fort trips!

We've had thunderstorms/rain on and off for the last week. The sun comes out during the day and it's hot and humid...and then evening brings thunderstorms and rain. The forecast is the same for the next 5 days.

My DD(14) and I are leaving for D.C on her class trip in the morning and they are under a heat advisory !! Supposed to be in the upper 90's the whole time we are there I hate hot weather...especially in big cities with all that pavement and people.

It never gets that hot in Buffalo, though its' up to 90 with very high humidity! My ac is going constantly! I'm outside trying to catch a breeze -- just got back from a camping trip-- I ran out of beer!!!!!!!!! I only had a case and a half. My idiot son is getting into my beer again! He brings a 6-pack and then drinks all mine! One of the daughters is in Acadia biking with her husband -- she told me they had to wait to get on the island to buy beer and wine because otherwise they'd have to bike it over. I guess they found an excellent micro brewery so all is well with my family. The other daughter is 8 months pregnant so she's not drinking right now.

Wait Phyllis, until the grand-kids come. It's really interesting!

Just made reservations for the 4th weekend. Same place we were at this weekend. Not my favorite campground, but it does have a beach! It's certainly no FW, by a long shot!

Hey Rog, it was good meeting you when we were at FW a couple weeks ago...Geez, seems so long ago now and I am already to head back. The way the prices are headed for gas, might have to think about cornering the market before heading back down.

Howdy Bud!!! Good to see ya make an appearance!!!! Youre right, the next Fort trips are never soon enough...unless your Stacktester, MrsGus. or des1954!!! We're thinking October 09 will probably be the soonest we can make it back without feeling like were hurting ourselves, of coarse fuel could be in the $10 range by then,....wow, I said that sarcasticly, but it could very well be more realistic than we think, huh!!!

Home from camping. Dang, it was HOT this weekend. Now comes the part I hate about camping. Doing the laundry and cleaning the camper, and I have to totally empty it to take it to the dealer tomorrow to get the hatch looked at again, and get a couple of other little things looked at before the warranty runs out in 2 weeks. I can't believe I've had my baby a year now. Time has flown!!!

(Yes, I will threaten them with their life if they don't have it ready by
