Ok, we are going to post Jim's battle scar. If it is not appropriate just delete the post, and I apologise in advance. It is just that everyone has been so great and thoughtful we thought we would show you what they have done so far to him.
so do we get the story? This is the chit chat thread!![]()
After my dad has his triple bypass, he was proud of his "zipper". Looks like we got an industrial-size zipper there.
Holy cow. Just got back from our rained-out Cub Scout Day Camp. We did activities for a couple of hours and then the weather hit. I had six 2nd and 3rd grade boys, 60mph winds, monsoon rain (literally). I was laying across the backs of these boys just trying to keep debris off of them. My phone totally fried. We finally got to the storm shelter after a bunch of hefty workmen literally picked up my boys and our wagon and carried them there. We had crying scouts everywhere. All our stuff is blown to smithereens. We were supposed to have 3 more days of camp - but there may be nothing left. $85 bucks per kid, gone with the wind.
At least they are all safe and home now. And of course, it's quite nice outside in the aftermath.
Let me show you some ranger choke holds to use on this clown -- better yet let me do it! I've never met him and already I don't like him!
Holy Moly! What badge do they get for THAT?
Jeez, Ami...sorry you were stuck with such a weener.......personally, he sounds like the kinda guy that I LOVE to get stuck into a corner with....aint nothing more fun than intimidating an intimidater.
What it boils down to is the inconsiderate nature of one particular ....guy.
Guess I'll have to come up with one. Is there a "scare the poop outta me" badge?
Why did I want to kill some campers? I realize that this statement sounds very un-camper-like. Very un-Ami-like, too for that matter. I am usually very quiet...peace loving, you know? But I have my reasons. I could go on for hours and divulge years of pent up frustrations. But I won't....
What it boils down to is the inconsiderate nature of one particular ....guy. As a family they are a force....a force of what I'm not really sure. He is rude to me and I guess thinks I'm a fat fiesty slob who should feel honored to do his bidding; He is also an a$$ to his wife who is clearly deserving of sainthood for putting up with him;
but
the way he treats my children is just more than any mother can handle! He always drops comments that are meant to be demeaning...and he always chooses one of my daughters per trip to bare the brunt of his foul mood. Last year it was Meija, who pretty much keeps to herself and is very mature and repectful. This time it was Annalise, who is a firecracker...but..... It started the first night when my 7 year old was playing Kung Fu (thanks to Kung Fu panda) with his 6 year old son. It was going fine until the son fell down (yeah, she pushed him....all in good fun). Well this guy comes barreling over, yelling at my DD saying "what the he** are you thinking pushing down a poor kid who's sleepy? You should have more sense than that! Come on, why are you so mean?" blah blah blah and he gets this tone...condescending...the kind that makes you want to knock him upside the head.
I finally got him to shut his trap and hopefully embarrassed him when he realized that it was a game and my DD is just much stonger than his son. This lead to comments the rest of the trip about Annalise being mean and his son doesn't want to be with her.."I can't imagine why!" When clearly, his son thinks the sun rises and sets in Annalise and the one with the issue is dear old dad.
There are a million other things...but I would fill up the entire chit chat thread so I'll stop there.
Thank you. I feel much better now.
My DH just walks away hanging his head - thinking "there she goes again".![]()
