Yo Ho! Yo Ho! A Trip Report for me! COMPLETED!

Monkey Mouse, Nonald Nuck. :rotfl2:

Epcot is my favorite too. Though I am not brave enough to try any part of Mission Space. :scared:

.

......... Still, nothing was going to keep me from the chocolate creme brulee in France along with (admittedly, not part of the F&W Festival, but a necessary stop) a Grey Goose Slushie. Can I say, as far as the slush went, BEST. NOM. EVER..........

.....CUE THE CHOIR!

Crab Cakes.

As far as food goes. . .

BEST
NOM
EVER.

That's all I have to say about that.

DUDE! :thumbsup2

.

I love the shots of Epcot at dusk. I need to put that on my photo list!

Those and the picture of the castle were my favorites!

"Forever let us hold our banner high!"

I think I liked Epcot so much because there is so much there for everyone. It truly is a family park.

Totally. Thanks for dropping by, Legomom! :goodvibes

I have to say that the next day I should be called a gracious mom. Rather than taking my kids kicking and screaming to Epcot for 8am EMH, I let them sleep in. Wasn't that so nice of me? I mean, dh was understandably tired, as were the kids.

Even though I had set the alarm to go off early that morning, I am not sure I was ready for it either. Still, I got up, got ready, and left the Ziploc bags of clothes for the kids at the foot of the bed. I then travel by bus over to EPCOT.

I take, IMO, another beautiful picture of Spaceship Earth. Ya know, someday I'll actually ride it. . .

There I get my fill of Soarin' and Mission: Space. And the phone rings. "We're here. Can you help me with breakfast?" :rotfl: :lmao: Dude. It's only 8:45am. So, I leave Mission: Space (aft I ride it, of course) to help dh with kids and breakfast at Sunshine Seasons. Now, if you want to grab breakfast after getting off of Soarin', I highly recommend breakfast there. Of course, because our oldest does not like anything other than pastries for breakfast, we were left with no other choice than to leave with 2 meal credits still in our queue on the last day.

After a nourishing breakfast (well, for all of except Sweetie), we grab some fastpasses for Soarin' and meet dh's brother. All of the kids love him. . .

IMG_0746.jpg

We then go over for the Seas with Nemo and watch the dolphon show over there. Our SIL takes a picture of dh and me together.

Boo sitting in Bruce's mouth. . .

IMG_0763.jpg

She looks all relaxed for some reason.

We then make our way to the World Showcase for lunch. At Le Cellier. Now, people rave about the food at Le Cellier. The kids all had the cheese soup as appetizer, dh had the duck two ways, and I had the mussels. IMO, all of our appetizers were close to inedible. The steaks were pretty good, but mine was not as good as the one I had the night before at Coral Reef. Dh loved his. The kids had basically spaghetti. Our server was nice and very patient with the party of 8. I'll finish with this thought about Le Cellier. We've been there, done that. I would go again, but not with such a large party. And I definitely would never order an appetizer there again.

As we leave Le Cellier, my girls decide to clown around outside.

IMG_0815.jpg

We then start Kidcot in the United Kingdom, where my SIL was basically ordered to take a picture with Eeyore by Eeyore because she was wearing his shirt. It was all cute and he was stamping his foot and pointing at her.

I learned here that my Boo would absolutely refuse to have a male put a charm or stamp on her mask, but was fine with females. This left me to looking like an idiot in line with all of the little kids. Also, Kidcot can waste a lot of time, IMO. So, next trip I am going to buy a couple of sets of Sharpies for the kids to color their masks at the table back at the resort. That way, the World Showcase doesn't take forever!

After leaving the World showcase, we all cash in on our Soarin' fastpasses and travel on to the resort to rest for a little while before MNSSHP.

DS absolutely loves Soarin'

Awesome update! I can't believe you've never ridden Space Ship Earth! It's a must! Especially when your feet are tired and you need a break :rotfl: It used to be narrarated by the smexy Jeremy Irons but they replaced him with Judy Dench! Oh well, still awesome. I had no idea that there was a dolphin show! I'll have to check it out next time. Your DD looks so cute in Bruce's mouth  I'll take your advice on the Le Cellier appetizers when we go :thumbsup2 Looking forward to more!

I know, I know. All those pictures of Spaceship Earth and I've never been in there. Hopefully I'll go in there next summer or fall, whenever we go.

I know I have promised the next update to be entitled, "Yo Ho, Yo Ho, A Pirate's Life for me. But I would also be remiss if I did not add in some pictures that our friends took of us when we were there. So, my next webisode will be "Backtracking a Bit" and will include those pictures. Unfortunately, it will take me some time to get those pictures uploaded to photobucket and I will therefore be uploading and updating tomorrow (Sunday) sometime between church and playing around. I also want to take some pictures of the new pins I got while I was there and the Christmas ornaments I got in Downtown Disney. So be patient, I'll update soon. And stay with me, as well, as when I finish the Trip Report, I will start my pretrip report for the summer or fall of 2010! (I know, a little over a year in advance, but this is gonna be the best trip ever and I want to start now!!!!) We were going this summer, but I needed (wanted) a new computer and dh and I negotiated. Another 12 months until we go on the next trip in return for a computer. I figured I could have fun planning the next trip and we could possibly stay at a deluxe next time, so no skin off my back, right?

Thanks for reading, btw! And have a great weekend (what's left of it. . .)

up next. . .Backtracking a Bit, followed by Yo Ho, Yo Ho, A Pirate's Life for Me!

Looking forward to more! You reminded me that I need to finish my TR too :rolleyes1 Then I have to start a PTR for January! I don't know how to plan this one :scared: I'm glad you were able to get your new computer, it's such a pain when those break!

Have a good rest of the weekend :)

Yesterday I went to the Post office and picked up our bff's pictures from the trip. He took some great pictures of the fireworks from Dumbo. . .

But first, Minnie Mouse on Spectromagic.

I just love her!

Boo just could not make it to the fireworks (or Spectro, for that matter)

I'm in the green dumbo, and these pictures just speak for themselves. This reminds me of what a magical moment this evening was.

If you ever get the chance to view the fireworks like this, try it. I think the CM who was running the ride knew exactly when to start the ride so that it finished at the end of the fireworks, because she held us up for a bit. The result was simply amazing. I've never seen anything like it!

Now, these are the pictures from the breakfast at Cape May Cafe that the guys went to.

Okay, tangent and backtrack over. I'll get back to our regularly scheduled update later. . .

Those Pic's are really great!!! I love DH grabbing Donald's tail!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

Have I ever told all of you, my favorite ride in Magic Kingdom is Pirates of the Carribean? It is! And not because of Jack Sparrow  , although he doesn't hurt! It's because of the sheer nature of the animatronics and how POC is really an embodiment of the awesome theming of Disney parks.

Well, this has a point, because the night in this report, October 28, was the day of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party!!!!

And walking in on our very first day this week, we were reminded of the upcoming excitement!

DSC_0383.jpg

Well, we finally get back to Port Orleans after our sojourn into Epcot that morning. While dh takes a well-deserved nap, I start getting together the kids' costumes. Now, in all of my planning, I was personally worried that ds would be too hot in his pirate's outfit. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd be worried about all of us being too cold!

I frantically find long sleeved shirts and sweaters with tights to go under the girls' Rosetta and Belle costumes. We all get ready and head out. By now, we know that it makes more sense to take Disney transportation to the Magic Kingdom, after waiting over an hour to get back to the car the Saturday before.

My Belle on the bus. . .

IMG_0862.jpg

By now, I am already envying ds's pirate's costume, which is warm enough, but also had enough breeze to have made it cool if it was too hot out. . .How I wished I had his outfit on. And some rum to warm me up, to be honest.

IMG_0864.jpg

And the Magic Kingdom was, of course, getting less and less crowded.

The Photopass lady took a picture of the five of us. . .

Disney2008-3.jpg

Then, of course, we head to my favorite ride, POC, followed by a visit to Big Thunder Mountain, where we rode twice consecutively.

After our first Trick or Treat stop, ds decides to ham it up. . .

IMG_0882.jpg

And my baby. . .doesn't she look so cute?

IMG_0877.jpg

So, we're at the party. We are starting to have a ball. So what is the best part? Coming up, in my next installment.
