Tickets have arrived for our trip in two weeks time. :cheer2: :cool1: :rotfl2: :woohoo: :Pinkbounc
Could anyone who has travelled with TCD tell me if it is worth attending the wecome meeting at Lake Buena Vista mall. The information enclosed with the tickets say they give you vouchers worth 100s of $ but I wonder if this is just a sales pitch to try and sell you excursions.

Most welcome meetings are basically a sales pitch for tours and tickets etc...

You will probably learn far more from these boards than you would from attending a meeting anyway :)

As for the discount tickets, you can pick up books of discount vouchers from most shops and restaurants around Orlando, so unless there is a particular discount you are after I wouldn't bother going :)

I have never been with TCD, however, Virgin do a similar thing and we have not been for many years.
Yes, personally I think it's a sales pitch to get you to book excursions etc, unless you have anything specific to collect I would not bother.

As I say though, my experience is not with TCD.

(posted at exactly the same time as Tim's) ;)

Yippppeeee!!

I have never gone to a welcome meeting as I hate to think of that wasted time when I could be having fun :goodvibes

All of those meetings are Timeshare traps. You can get the same coupon book for that mall plus all the other malls for free with no strings attached by just asking your concierge at your hotel.
