Yikes! Showing rain for our whole trip

We had the same forecast last week and there was little actual rain, though many days it appeared it would hit any moment.

It was drizzling when we did the Safari at AK, and the giraffes were running -- it was a marvellous sight! (Rainy days are also good for whale watching, should you ever take a vacation in a place that offers this -- the love to come up out of the water so you see much more of them playing. Not sure if the same thing applies to Seaworld!)

Be thankful for any bit of clouds or rain! we were there last wek and when the sun came out it was unbearable. We had little rain, some downpours which lasted for a few minutes, but mostly cloud cover....and it was great!
Just get a rain slicker for $7 and yhou'll be fine.
I always say, for a beach vacation give me sun...for disney, I'll take the rain and clouds any day!

PS: you also don't get funny tan lines :flower:

Parts of the Orlando area got 3"+ of rain this evening...flood warnings for some parts of Central Fla.

:sad2: What a bummer. Weather.com is showing rain every single day during our trip next week. Hubby thinks maybe we should reschedule. Is the forecast wrong very often in FL?

Florida forcast for every day is Isolated or Scattered T-storms. Nothing to be concerned about, Florida very frequently has showers in the afternoon which only last a few minutes. You'd be suprised just how quickly they can burn right up, you almost start to not mind when it rains as it seems more of a relief.

I'm currently dating a meteorologist. Anything that is predicted more than 3 days ahead has a VERY small chance of actually occuring...

Floriday will nearly ALWAYS show scattered or isolated thunderstorms when the weather is warmer like it is now. (I used to live there for 6 years) Those are by no means all day rains. It usually means MAYBE 15-30 minutes in the afternoon. I am going next week and am pretty pysched about the weather because the chance of rain is under 50% most days. Defintely go.

yea dont sweat it..they might report something and then you go outside and it is completely different...if you reschedule when you see rain...you will never make it to disney...go and have a ball !!!!

Disney is great whether it rains or not. I have two little ones and they think it is great running around with ponchos on and having fun in the rain!! You get on rides quicker and shows that is just a plus if it is raining. The characters are still around they just tend to duck into the stores or areas going into or coming out of shows. It doesn't discourage them from having fun.

In my experience I have had days it rained every single day while there, times that is only rained at night and we had beautiful days. Rescheduling will make you sad. Good luck! ::MinnieMo princess: princess:

We got a good soaking last night, unfortunately I had to drive up to Leesburg at around 9:00pm in it to pick my son up.

In all honesty we needed it, we haven't had any rain for about a week now, I actually ahd to bump up my irrigation system, my grass was getting very brown.
