I know that some kids can sit quietly and be entertained with crayons, etc. - but my younger DS is going through this screaming phase that just won't allow it to work. I look forward to the day when it dawns on him that screaming in public is not socially acceptable. (Sigh.) I just can't rely on that happening between now and February though.
