While I agree with your statement, the fact that DI$ spent $100m on this attraction and continue to use the nYeti to promote EE and DAK, but it has been broken for ~5 years now is just plain sad. Shut it down and fix it. Period. Heck if TSM and RnRC can be shut down for repairs/updates for ~2 mos. why not EE? IMO, there's more to this...perhaps it can't be fixed w/o a MAJOR overhaul, which might involve tearing part of the ride down. Or the rumors I have read that the contractor is now bankrupt and is no more might have an impact on this as well. In any case, if you can't/won't fix the ride, update the promotional videos, etc. that promote the nYeti.

I don't think its a simple can fix it w/ a screwdriver over night type of deal and that is why it has remained broken for this long and has no plans released in the near future for a refurb. Disney attempted to fix the Yeti a few years back and could not. It will require a major overhaul.

I get that (and that is what I suspected), but it pisses me off to no end that they continue to promote something that doesn't work as advertised. Oh well...

I seen it both ways and it is disappointing when you expect him to come out and you barely even seen him. I told someone new with us how cool it was when he tries to get the riders and when it was done- I don't know if he believed me that it was that way.
