Yet another 'When would you go?'

I am conflicted on when to go.

We have tickets we received from Disney that expire on May 30, 2015.

Would you go:

Christmas 2014 (Weekend before Thanksgiving) or (Weekend before Christmas)

Spring Break 2015 (Second Week of March)

After Memorial Day 2015, but before May 30.

We have one ticket to Disneyland only, but would likely buy a day at DCA. Crowds will probably be high no matter when we go, but being a student at Arizona State, I do not have much flexibility in this regard.

I don't know whether it would be better to see it decorated for Christmas, or to be there during the 60th anniversary year? Is anything special happening for the anniversary?

Thanks, guys! :thumbsup2

If it were me, I would probably opt for the weekend before Thanksgiving. It's going to be busy, but so is the weekend before Christmas. The holiday decor and activities will be in full swing (based on previous years), and seeing DLR with its holiday decor is fun.

I would assume that something will happen for the 60th anniversary, but nothing has been announced yet.

I think the weekend before Thanksgiving would be OK, like Figment says, OR the weekend before Christmas---that one we've done---several times, and it has been great!

The weekend before Christmas is busier, than the first two weeks in December, but not nearly as busy/crowded/crazy as the week following Christmas(in our experience)!

We would not hesitate to do either one of those two specific weekends! The Holiday decor is so beautiful---something not to be missed, if you have the opportunity!:)

I did Spring Break two years in a row, and I was surprised at how manageable the crowds were. No, the parks were not empty, and the big ticket attractions did have long lines. But we were able to get a lot done.

I went with friends last year (2013) for spring break. It was nice. We got everything in DCA done (Except for Bugs Land and Monsters Inc, Jellyfish, Swings) in about 2.5 hours following park opening on the first day we were there. That was crazy.
