I realize this is the third such post in the last week, but I felt the overwhelming need to vent. I booked the VISA package with WDW Vacations on 11/12. On 11/14, I called back to cancel due to potential scheduling problems (and the fact that I wanted to explore room only option through CRO to save $$). Representative informed me $200 deposit should be refunded to my account shortly (used a Visa debit card).

Well, lo and behold, a refund did post to my account - but it was for $160.05. AARGHHH! I'm on hold right now with Disney as my bank told me they couldn't do anything about it. :headache: :worried:

Just got off the phone with a rep and the missing $39.95 was due to the fact that I hadn't checked "NO" to travel insurance when booking the Visa deal online.

   (insert Psycho theme here)

So, word to the wise, check "no" to travel insurance if either you don't want/need it or if there is any chance you may need to cancel. I've learned the hard way by literally throwing $39.95 down the proverbial drain. That money could have come in handy for a character meal.

Can the insurance transfer for your NEXT trip. I have heard about that extra being added and you have to specifically say NO INSURANCE. Sorry!
