Hi again

First off, thanks to everyone who responded to my Splash Mountain/BTMR question yesterday. :wave2:

Ok, I have some more ride questions , this time regarding some rides at Epcot and size restrictions.

My husband (and me I have to admit ) are kinda pooh sized, and I was wondering if we should just pass on going to Mission Space ,

We were REALLY wanting to go on it last time, infact we got up right to the queing (spelling?) area b4 my husband had us go back because he was scared he wouldn't fit.

Is it feesible for us to ride this ride (together hopefully lol) ? My husband is a 6'3 and size 54'. And I am kinda pooh size too (I REFUSE to say how big I let myself go too lol :p )

Thanks!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

I think you would fit just fine. Its not a ride where anything has to be buckled- you just sit in a seat and a shoulder rest comes down over you.

BUT be careful not to get sick!! We rode it and NEVER again!! Just a little FYI. Follow ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS AND TIPS YOU MAY GET BEFORE RIDING. You don't want to ruin your day feeling ill like we did.

How are the seats? are they 5 year old sized like the seats at Philharmagic? lol Also, Are the CM's forced to cram 4 ppl in the pods, or can just me and hubby go in by ourselves together and have room to 'spread out' as it were? ;)

I am 6'4" and a 48" waist and had no trouble at all on Mission Space. My wife (who is 6') and I went on it last year with our 5 year old with no size problems for anyone including our 5 year old. The CM's do put 4 people per car in each car, but that isn't problem either. My family was in a car last year with a near "pooh" sized man and we never felt "stuffed" in. Just like was said earlier, follow all instructions about the ride , especially if you are prone to getting motion sick. It almost ruined my wifes whole day because she kept checking on our son (who was having a blast) and not following the suggestions. I got a little queasy, but because I tried to follow the directions, I didn't get any worse and I do tend to get motion sick pretty easily.

This should ease all your fears about fitting on any disney rides. I am a six four 425lb man who went to disney last feb. I had no problems fitting on any of the rides except the Teacups (thats ok cause they make me sick any way. On most rides i rode by myself and had no problem although i was probably less the graceful getting out of space mountain and astro orbiters. Disney is awesome when it comes to catering to us fullest figured folks. I do highly recomend checking out deb's website for the section called wdw at Large . It is a great resource
