Yet another MYW Dining question...

We are going on the dining plan with 2 adults and 2 kids - we will be joined by 2 other adults for a couple of days who are not on the plan - can we go to dinner and use the 4 sit-down meals for the 4 adults and pay for the kids?
Ooh, Kathy- now you're opening a can of worms! :earseek: Some on the boards think that using the kids' credits for anyone other than the kids is "cheating the system" and it's morally wrong. I got flamed pretty bad for saying so, but technically, there is no rule stating it cannot be done. So, if you want to do this, I say go for it! You paid for the credits, and you might as well use them as you see fit. Others have posted that they have done this, and Disney seems to have no problem with it, so do it.

Just make sure you tell your server when you are seated what you are doing, so they can bill you appropriately.

We had the plan on a recent trip. Went to CRT for dinner with the 6 in our party and 3 friends who weren't on the plan. Told the waitress we'd be using the plan for part of the tab. Asked for one bill. Everyone ordered what they wanted. She then deducted from the total 6 app, 6 entree, 6 desserts, 6 drinks. (took off all of the most expensive in each category!!!) the remaining bill was then paid. Total bill was well over $400. Total paid- including tax and very very generous tip ( theoritically on the "paid "portion since the tips on the plan meals are allegedly included) was $75. We had the plan for 6 for 2 days- total cost $420. ALmost paid for itself on just that one meal.
