I just called to make reservations, and the woman said that the computer said that we may be seated at different tables.
1) You need to understand the ADR system.
2) And, how HDDR is different.
3) With normal ADR, they usually can combine tables.
. . . tables are not assigned
. . . if a 6-group comes in, they can *usually* combine tables
. . . other guest ADR's get delayed by combining tables
. . . now, a larger group can sit together
. . . the delay for the other ADR's is usually not that long
4) At HDDR
. . . there are a limited amount of tables
. . . they are sold as people make ressies
. . . once all 2-person tables are sold, they are gone
. . . once all 4-person tables are sold, they are gone
. . . once all 6-person tables are sold, they are gone
. . . there are exceptions
. . . if 2-tops are sold, a 2-guest can get an open 4-top table
5) Now, all guests eat at the same time
. . . CM's cannot delay one group to combine other tables
. . . there are no more tables remaining to combine
. . . if ressie person says you will be split-up, trust them
. . . only with cancellations can you be combined
6) As for asking to combine when you pick up tickets
. . . only the HDDR people can assign tables
. . . you can pick up tix only 7-days in advance
. . . tables are assigned by the date/time of the ressie
. . . tables get assigned prior to the 7-day pick-up time
. . . if there is a full house, all tables are assigned
. . . if there are open tables, you have already been combined
7) So, the usually "split tables" disclaimer doesn't work here.
8) Unless there are cancellations, it is pretty certain.
