I'm about to cancel my room only reservation for next week and be added to a friend's room with dining plan reservation. I have an AP but I recall having to link my reservation number before scheduling FP+. I think I did it just outside of 30 days. Will I lose my FP+ selections? I am still staying in property, just on another reservation. Help!

I can't speak to whether you'd lose your FP reservations (I'm thinking no since it's linked to your ticket - anyone with a ticket can make FP+), but wanted to mention that you may be required to purchase tickets if you are being added to a package with a dining plan...

I won't have to buy tickets. We all have APs so when AP holders add the dining plan, tickets don't have to be purchased by anyone.
Update: I just made the switch, and no FP were sacrificed in the process. I called IT first and still didn't feel better. The guy first said I'd lose my FP selcections. Then he said I would only lose them if I had a package that included tickets. Then he said just to go it but look to see if they are still there after I do it. It seems to have all worked out fine, though.

Gotcha. I wasn't sure if the free dining promo played a factor in that. Glad it worked out!
