yet another fast pass + question 1 per family?

I apologize if this has already been answered but I have searched the message boards and can't find it. My DH was able to snag one pass for myself (!), but could not copy to the rest of the party this morning.

Do you need more than one fast pass + to see Anna and Elsa? Only my DD needs to meet the characters, but we all want to be able to watch her. Can she use the fast pass + (read this was possible on a blog, but want to verify) and we stand in line with her?

Also, on a side note. Is it true that we will have to get a fp+ for our daughter in order to ride using parent swap even though she won't be riding them?

There is so much contradicting information out there on various FAQ Disney websites and blogs-- it makes my head hurt!

TIA

Anyone who will go in needs a fastpass. We go next week and at the 60 day mark only my husband snagged AE. I checked everyday and after about two weeks had a group of 7 all with FP for the same time. Just keep checking.

Considering many kids for rider swap are too young for tickets I can't imagine. But I don't know how it works if your child is big enough but too scared. I'd venture to say no.

Yes everyone needs a FP+ to meet Elsa and Anna.

No, the child does not need a FP+ to use rider swap. We just used it multiple times on our trip. I would use FP+ and get rider swap, then DH would ride using it.

Since she is older than 2, then not only will she need a FP to meet Elsa and Anna, but anybody accompanying her will also need one. Apparently the scenario you mentioned from a blog might be possible with a child younger than 3 who does not need a fastpass (saw a reference to that on this board) but not with a child age 3 or older.

A child has to be age 7, to go in by herself. As she is 3, they will let her go see Anna and Elsa by herself, and if no one else has a FP+ to go with her, will not let you in. You need to keep trying to get at least 1 more FP. It does not have to be the exact same time-- you just have to find one that overlaps times. For example- if the one you have is 3:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m., if you can pull another one that runs from 3:40 to 4:40- then you have a 20 minute overlap where you can use the FP+ together.

This can be made easy for you. Just read the one in MESA's signature and it will make it easier (as easy as it can be that is). Stop looking elsewhere as it will only confuse you
