Yet Another Dumb Question - MagicBand entry when staying off site

We are staying off side for one day before going on property. We bought tickets from ParkSavers and will have MagicBands from Disney. My tickets are already linked in MDE. I can still use the MagicBands the first day when I'm staying off property, right? I just go through the entry using my MagicBand? Sorry for teh dumb question - I just didnt want to be shocked when I got there. TIA!
