Extra small 'beach' crocs are too small for me and small is too large, so I wear the Mary Jane croc because it's sized-- but I really want a Disney pair. I've heard if you get a size that's too small it will conform to your foot....anyone had this experience?

Thanks!

DH was in the same boat and rather than risk getting tight crocs for our upcoming DL trip, he got the larger size and wears them with his thick running socks. :)

I typically wear a 7.5 in shoes. So I am in between the small and medium crocs and I really wanted a pair of the Disney crocs as well. I found them at the mall this past weekend and tried them on. The smalls just barely touched my toe. But the mediums seemed way too big. I did end up buying the smalls. I have been wearing them around the house for the last few days and the more I wear them, the more comfortable they get. I am amazed. It really feels like they are conforming themselves to fit my foot. I am really glad I bought the small.

as I was leaving AS Sports yesterday to catch our flight home I saw the disney crocs on sale in the gift shop. They had the pink one for kids and the black one for guys.

Fashion Police Alert.....
I ONLY wear mine with socks IF I am wearing pants ...NEVER with shorts..and only with matching color socks.... Otherwise, way too goofy tourist looking for me.....and not in a good Disney Goofy way....

But to each their own as my Dad always says...

Anyways..... I was in between and got the smaller and to be honest they bother my toenails and mine(toenails) are not long. Maybe if they had Women(me) and Men Sizes instead of one size fits most, they would fit better.

If you find that your crocs are just a tiny bit too small, try gently stretching the strap(starting at CROCS)with both hands pulling equally. It should be like trying to pull taffy. I found that I was able to gain just enough room that I could wear my Crocs comfortably and then "break them in" through normal wear.

Hope this helps as the next size up is usually too big if you are this close to the smaller size.

Okay I am new at this! Disney Crocs? What are you talking about? Are they Disney patterns or what? Do these really feel better while in the parks? I was not planning on taking mine. Thanks for all advice in advance!

If your crocs are too small, try putting them in the dryer until they get a little warm. Put on some thick socks and wear them around to break them in. I did this with my ballet crocs and it worked perfectly!

They are on the Crocs website- they are the basic Crocs, but come in "Disney" color combinations- black w/red strap or red w/black strap (Mickey Mouse), pink w/white strap or white w/pink strap (Princesses). The holes on the top of the shoe are also Mickey heads!! Very cute. Kids sizes have even more color combos- lime/blue, yellow/blue and green/yellow.

I posted earlier because DH bought his Disney crocs big and I'm going to chime back in to say that after a few days at DL, he had blisters from his feet moving around too much in the shoes. :sad2: The rest of us all felt that after 8 days of walking around the parks, our feet had never felt better on a Disney trip, but the Crocs do need to fit properly. :confused3

I did this with my Beaches. The first time I did it, the crocs stretched too much and were too big. I posted my problem, and it was suggested that I try to stretch them in the dryer again. I did it again, but I didn't wear thick socks the second time around. The fit was perfect!

When talking about Crocs you also have to mention what "kind" of Croc you're wearing since there are so many kinds.

I do not have the original "Beach" Crocs. I do own a pair of Athens (the flip flop kind) and a pair of Mary Janes (two straps and more narrow than the Beach). The Athens are my favorite of the two simply because I like my toes to feel free. But the Mary Janes are quite comfortable as well.

The key to wearing Crocs is getting the right size. As stated on the Crocs website, the shoe should not touch the sides of your feet and you should have 1/4-1/2 inch of room in front of your toes. If they feel tight anywhere, ever, then you need to go a size up. They are not meant to fit like a regular shoe.

Hope that helps!!

crocs will form to your foot, but you don't want them to be too small, and especially not too large. you may want to consider having a couple of pairs though,,,,i wear mine with sox right now,,northeast phila region,,,no snow warm weather,,,so if you are wearing them with sox you want a sep pair, than if your just sticking your foot in them...i have 2 pair myself,,even though they were the same size they fit differently,,,it took about a week to break them in.....kinda like birks.....
