I know that many of you love your Baby Jogger City Mini strollers and I am looking at getting a double stroller, so I was wondering if any of you have tried or have the Baby Jogger City Micro stroller? What are your thoughts/recommendations? I like the City Mini, but I like the price of the Micro better! Is the Mini worth the extra $100?

TIA

I just bought the BJCM for our dd2 and love it. I believe when I was checking into strollers, the micro was quite a bit smaller. I bought mine from diapers.com
They will price match another sites price and if its your first order you can also get an extra 10% off. Mine ended up being $176 I believe.
I had them price match albeebaby.com as the were offereing an extra 15% off at the time (I think)
Anyway, diapers.com has free return shipping which was another reason I went with them. Since I couldnt "test drive" any BJ strollers (there arent any sold near me) I was glad that I could ship it back on their dime if I didnt like it.
I love it, though.:lovestruc

The micro does not recline as much as the mini either from what I see.

I asked this question awhile ago and got the same answers..nobody has it, and they bought there city micro from diapers.com when they were 15% off at allbebaby.com blah blah

Doesn't help too much because that sale is no longer valid.......

so...anyone actually USE the micro?

I haven't used it but would love to try it!

According to these guys, it's built on the same frame as the Mini so the seat size, height, etc. is essentially the same, just with fewer features to make it lighter and more compact (smaller sunshade, 2 position recline, etc.).

The one thing I love about the BJ strollers is the huge sun canopy which creates quite the cave and blocks the sun from any angle, esp. low early morning and late afternoon sun. The Micro lost the huge sun canopy so it would be a tough decision on whether I'd actually buy it as that's an important feature to me personally. But then again you can get a canopy extender for well under $100!

I also think the smaller wheels put it back in line with the rest of the crowd of umbrella strollers as 6" front wheels aren't great on anything other than smooth surfaces which makes it less versatile.

I guess I love the Mini because it's a step above umbrella strollers but not a beast like most full-size strollers. It all depends on how and where you're going to be using it and what features are important to YOU.
