I love the movie.View attachment 839670
Just saw this movie again (probably 3rd or 4th time) last night and it is just such a great movie, i was curious if others thought so too, or never heard of it, etc.
It made me turn on the Beatles channel all day today. lol
The alternate ending is cool too. It’s a great movie. The plot "twist" near the end had me teary-eyed.
Alternate ending? What is it, or how to see it?The alternate ending is cool too.
Definitely makes you think, doesn’t it.It’s a great movie. The plot "twist" near the end had me teary-eyed.

Interesting… a little Potter twist.
Such an amazing part of the film, brings a tear to my eye every time.We had an early release day to do grades and I’d always bring a movie to put on while I worked. I’d bought this on Black Friday and hadn’t watched it so took it. About the time the “twist” happens my co-worker comes in and I’m standing at the front of my room, mouth agape with tears streaming down my face. All I could say was “he could be 78”.
I’m a big Beatles fan and John was my fave. Once at the City Wide Garage Sale in Austin there was this framed sketch drawing of him. No idea if it’s a copy, something someone did, anything like that. But I saw it and had to have it. I asked the guy and he said “oh, the glass broke when I was bringing it over so I was gonna wait til next time to sell it. I was gonna ask $20 but since the glass broke, how’s $10?” It’s the center of my Beatles framed-record wall.Such an amazing part of the film, brings a tear to my eye every time.
I’m not sure how different the world would be, but I know it would be better just because he would still be in it.
I have a framed posted of him wearing a NYC shirt, and in quotes it says “I say peace cannot be compromised”.
