Friday August 23, 2013: Day 8, Part 8 - Dream Suite Tour Part 5​

The next room of the Dream Suite that we toured was the bathroom, otherwise known as the Royal “throne” room!

​

Yes, I am now polluting YOUR thread with comics too, but this is one of my faves and I thought it sort of fit here. Cross out The Queen and write in Cinderella and replace Jeeves/Buckingham Palace with Caroline/Dream Sutie and well, you can see where I am going.

Wow, only 7,000 people have toured the DS?! I would have thought it would be a lot more, just when you think about the scale of people who visit Disney. 10s of thousands every day. That's pretty special to be in that group.


I love love love that spa tub! Talk about the most magical bubble bath of all time. Those mosiac tiles are absolutely gorgeous, especially when they are lit up pink and blue.


Thank you for sharing your photographs and detailing the tour so nicely. It was so wonderful seeing all the details of the DS.

Second, congrats on having the #10 thread for 2013 - well deserved!

Thirdly, that was a wonderful tour of the DS - you did such a great job noting the details and capturing the experience.

That bathroom is amazing!

The only thing I was kind of taken aback by was the fact that the suite had 2 beds. I mean, it makes sense so they can sleep more people in the suite, but it kinda took away from it being specifically Cinderella's suite ... unless there is trouble in happily-ever-after and she and the prince are sleeping in separate bed

That bathroom is just gorgeous, and they wouldn't have to change the initial on the towel for me either. Seeing how my name starts with a C.

Ps I'm at the Beach Club Villas right now. Thank you so much for recommending this resort. My family is loving every second of it! Of course it helps that my parents were upgraded from a studio villa to a 2 bedroom villa and we decided to move in with them.

This was a very magacial tour. You and Em are blessed with being able to tour. Thank you for sharing with us common folks. I have been dying to take a bath. I can't think of the last one. Those pics of the bath tub were perfect. Now to get that tub in my house. I can imagine how tired you two were. Go get some rest.

wow Brenda, that DS is amazing! I love the bathroom. Although, the toilet looks a little out of place to me, I don't know why. It was hard not to picture Tom Cruise or NPH there, lol. The whole suite is incredible though and it's so cool you and Em got to tour it! Thank you so much for sharing this with us! I will never look at the castle and those windows the same way again!

Yeah, it would just be wrong to picture Cinderella with that toilet so I had to deflect with Tom!

It wouldn't be wrong to have a party in that tub - suits on of course - and put on some Disney tunes. Ahhhhh

Since we knew there was no one staying there that night we could have asked nicely... could we stay, pretty please? Yeah, I wouldn't have had the nerve to ask...

Of course, it was the least I could do! I don't think I can top this. (Our little upgrade in December still didn't rival this!)

Brenda, I usually don't get overly excited about bathrooms unless I've had a gallon of water, it's occupied, and I'm dancing in place to avoid a catastrophic event from taking place. However, that bathroom was very impressive; I could have passed on the thought of seeing Tom Cruise on the "throne." I'm sure it would have been a sight my eyes would never have recovered from.

You know, my bathroom is truly in need of some restoration!! I loved the sinks. I love the ones in the Sanaa bathroom as well. Maybe Disney would like to have a new show.....instead of Disney My Backyard it could be Disneyfy my "incredibly small and ugly" bathroom! I think it could be a great hit!
