8 of us are going to Disney for mine and my cousin's 40th bday. We didn't want to be tied down to having a dinner schedule like we did a few years back but we all really wanted to do Chef Mickey's again because it was our favorite. Well, who knew when I called for seatings (we will be there Oct 3-10) that they were completely booked up and the earliest we could get in was at 9:00PM! (not going to work with 4 children who would be cranky by 9pm and not want to eat...and maybe 4 cranky adults too!

Well, when I called to book something else the person I spoke to was GREAT...I wish I had gotten her name but she told me that Chef Mickey is doing a character lunch with the same food as the dinner!!! The last day they are doing this is Oct 3rd the day we get there!!! So, we are booked!!
I think this will work out perfect because we fly in at 9:30 and then we can have a nice big lunch at 1:30, we can get our photos, see the characters and relax and unwind for a little while after traveling and then we are already in MK for the rest of the day!! I'm soooo excited!!
