Yep, we're actually went w/out the kids!

I can't wait to read all of this! My husband & I will be married 10y next July & have sworn to take a kids free, grown up vacation. We will be in Disney 9/7-9/15 this year With the kids, we do love them.

However, I have been secretly checking out the adult fun portion of our Disney planning videos in preparation for the big grown up vacation next year. I'll try to get my husband to check out your report. Make it good!

My DBF really wanted some for his trip in November/December but they don't make them in wide, and the boy has wide feet. He gets such bad blisters EVERY time we go to Disney and we had heard such great things about these shoes- what a let down.

BTW, when do your kids start school? Will you have much time when you get back to get ready for the first day or do you have to have all that ready before you go? Mine don't start till 9/5 but from what I hear, that's pretty late.

7 DAYS!!!

Only 1 week left! It is going really fast! What's left to do?

BTW, when do your kids start school? Will you have much time when you get back to get ready for the first day or do you have to have all that ready before you go? Mine don't start till 9/5 but from what I hear, that's pretty late.

I really don't have too much left to do! I need to pick up some luggage locks for our golf clubs! Golf clubs are soooo expensive, I want to be sure they are locked up. Paranoid perhaps but I can't help but worry! I want to download some new songs to my MP3 player for the trip! It's a lifesaver on the airplane. This weekend we need to get out the luggage and start packing! Just thinking about that gets me sooo excited!

I'll still want to post a pic of our laminated itineary! I'm not that creative but I think it's so cool! I took the pic however, I still need to upload it to my computer.

My kids start school on Sept 4, the day we return. The kids are staying with family so they will take them to school. We'll have to get their backpacks etc all ready this weekend as the kids head off this weekend! They are excited about their adventure! I seriously can't believe it's almost here!

We'll be flying down on the 29th also (our anniv. is the 30th so this trip we're going without the kiddos!!) We are throwing a "Pirate & Princess birthday party" this weekend for my DS who just turned 5 and DD who turns 2 next week. As soon as that party is over I switch into all Disney mode. Love reading others pre-trippers as we get closer. Only 7 more days!!

Here is my laminated itineary! I printed it on postcard stock. I made two copies in case we lost one. We plan on carrying one in our sling bag.

Here is our sling bag! It is perfect for us and my DH likes to carry it!

The larger part of the bag is worn on the back and the small pouch is on your chest. That is one of the cool parts of the bag as it's a perfect size for keys to the kindom cards and photopass cards. We also carry our fastpass and cash here. It's so handy! We just love this bag and this will be our 3rd trip with it!

It's almost time! I haven't even started packing yet. I do have a "to go" pile though!

We had some bad new today! My husband has been to the doctor today and was told that he has a kidney stone!! We thought he had a kidney infection cuz he had those type of symptons! I finally found doctor that could squeeze him in before we leave on Wednesday! So, we'll find out more about it tomorrow morning!

WDW without the kids! I know, I know! It’s just not right!!

So I picked Port Orleans FQ. I’ve never stayed and it was the first resort on my list to try, mental list anyway. So, I made our reservations and chose a 3 day park ticket and with the free dining! Yeah baby Yeah!

Well, my hunky DH mentioned that it’s too bad we didn’t have more time because he really wanted to go to Gatorland. We missed this on our trip last year as we didn’t have enough time. My DH loves gators!

You're leaving in 2 days!!! I'm so excited for you -- we were just at POFQ and it was glorious. So peaceful and quiet (except for us, that is!), perfect for that romantic getaway.

And I must say that you all sound like our kind of people. We absolutely love Gatorland -- been there on 2 different trips. Absolutely incredibly fun in its hokeyness -- and great for those with a sense of humor.
