I have been working my schedule for my September trip (9/11-9/21) and I'm trying to work Yahaa Bob into the equation. He's at the Port Wednesdays - Saturdays. We have a bunch of stuff planned with my DD24 and her BF26 the first week (9/13-9/18) (including Moonlight Magic on Wed 9/13). We *might* be able to see him on Friday 9/15 but then we would go alone since the BF26 has zero interest in seeing Bob and I would miss spending an evening with them.

We could also see him on Wednesday 9/20 (his last show before going to Egypt) but I specifically stayed an extra night on 9/20 to attend the EEH at MK from 10-12pm. I figured that we could hop a bus to the MK after Bob's 9:30ish break and be there in time for EEH. Has anyone done this? Are the there even buses from the Port to the MK when the Port does not participate in EEH? I think it's only about a 10 minute ride so once we get on a bus, it won't be long to the MK.

It depends. The park is open until 10pm, so they should be running buses until that time. However, I personally wouldn’t count on a bus if I wasn’t planning on leaving the show until after 9:30 as they may try to route you through DS to an MK resort. I would plan on a rideshare as a backup, even knowing that with parks closing it might cost a little more. A MV can take you right up to the front of the bus depot at MK, or a regular Lyft/Uber can drop you at one of the monorail resorts.

Otherwise, I would sit on the perimeter of the audience and slip out around 9:00, which should ensure you can take a resort bus to MK. Since you could have to wait up to 20-30 minutes for a bus if you just missed it, I think anything later is a risk.

We'll be at POR during the first part of your vacation. ;)

I think your best bet is to see Bob on Friday 9/15. You will be spending some good quality time with your DD and her BF during the trip. They may want to do some things on their own, anyway. :)
