Year of a Million Celebrity Sightings! UPDATE 12/17: It happened again - 1st post

We were there on 12/5 and I walked right past Maurice Benard, Sonny Corinthos from General Hospital. He heard me telling my husband who he was and he looked back at me and smiled with his famous dimples.

We were at DL last year this exact week and she was there then too!

I think it is one of her children's birthdays. The first time we saw her was when she was geting out of her car at the GCH. We had ressies for Goofy's Kitchen later that evening and Poof next thing I know she was standing right there next to me at the buffet by the salads and walked into me with her plate --- She said ...OH... I am so sorry... I said Oh... it happens to the best of us! No worries.

My only observation.... she looks old and tired.

Well, she IS in her 60's. And she was walking around Disneyland. I'm only 26 and that makes me look tired.

We went for a day trip to the park today and saw comedian Carlos Mencia with a big party.

Okay, yesterday was my first "celebrity" sighting. I saw one of the playboy playmates from that reality show on Alice in Wonderland. I don't know her name, but she's the one that is Hef's main girl. The other two were not with her.

I saw Jon Voight walking down Main Street. And Jon Lassetter too. And Cuba Gooding Jr., Kobe Bryant, Orlando Bloom, Cheetah Girls, X Atencio, Rick Baker, Roy Disney, Joey Fatone, Natalie Maines, Wilmer Valderamma, and Johnny Depp!

OK, I cheated because this was at the Pirates Premiere and they were supposed to be there.

Actually though, I've never seen anybody just walking around. I'm too busy getting to the next ride!;)

Last June or July (I can't remember the exact dates) we saw Nicolas Cage with his wife and son getting on Dumbo. We were getting off and they were waiting with the CMs at the exit to be escorted on. I walked right next to him. It was pretty cool.

That would be holly!

We saw Dan Rather, with his daughter and grandson in March.
I would NEVER have noticed him, except that I first noticed his 'bodyguard' in a stuffy black suit and a Liberace style hairdo. The bodyguard had an earpiece in and was walking close to the plaid.

I kept watching the bodyguard until Dan Rather was almost walking on top of me. When I heard his voice, I knew exactly who it was. He was wearing a wind-breaker and red ball cap and was carrying a backpack. Honestly, if it hadn't been for the odd looking bodyguard, I would NEVER have noticed him. My hubby made the comment that if he had been Dan, he would have told the bodyguard to go home and get a hawaiian shirt and some shorts.:rotfl:

He was very loving to his daughter and grandson. He had a camera of his own and was taking pictures of the grandson on the fire engine in the fire station. We later saw them again at DCA at the SSColumbia playground.

Kate Moss was there with her daughter last week, but I didn't see her.

Years ago, Ive seen a number of stars at Disneyland. The biggest would be Tommy Lee Jones. Of course, That was not the first time I saw Tommy Lee Jones as I was invited to the world primere of Under Siege that featured him in the movie with Steven Seagal. I even got a great photograph of Tommy Lee Jones, Steven Seagal, And myself together at the screening from that night.

On a side note, While it is great to see a celebrity sighting at Disneyland with their family or just themselves. I just find it rude that people will take pictures when these stars themselves are just trying to have a fun filled day at Disneyland without being photographed or harrased for anything else like a autograph.
