Year of a Million Celebrity Sightings! UPDATE 12/17: It happened again - 1st post

Did anyone else see the scary profile first, skinny nose? Forget it. I'm just making myself sound more crazy.:rotfl:

Nope, I didn't see it first. BUT......now that it is *midnight*, and I looked at it again.....that is ALL I can see is that funky profile. ;)

When my Dh and I were there in Aug we were waiting in the area right before boarding Soaring and Jay Moore and his wife and son were walked in by a CM . They were put in to the waitiing area right across from us, tried to point him out to hubby but he has no idea who he is, I thought it was pretty cool though. On our way out of Soaring they were waiting in line to see the Cars so I got to see them twice.

On Monday December 3rd I seen Michelle Kwan filming her comercial and then coming out of the Indy FP distribution I ran into Dick and Danielle from Big Brother this past summer. She was nice and friendly him I didn't talk to he seems like a jerk lol.

I saw Courtney Cox and David Arquette this passed summer in June

They were with a CM body guard, and 2 young girls one of them probably about 13 and the other about 10 but neither of them Coco so im guessing either nieces or family friends. I guess in that one photo they were stuck in the crowd.

We just saw DB Sweeney in line for Small World the other day. He isn't a huge star, the biggest movie he was in was Cutting Edge I think but I love that movie!

I LOVE that movie, too! "TOE PICK!" :rotfl:

Kailua's Belle - I can't see the profile at all, maybe I'm just too used to what's actually in the picture... :confused3

Why is that weird since she wrote "tragic kingdom?"

Stamos must love that place. We saw him there on November 28th.

I was curious too so I googled the lyrics... very interesting!

NO DOUBT
"Tragic Kingdom"

Once was a magical place
Over time it was lost
Price increased the cost
Now the fortune of the kingdom
Is locked up in its dungeon vaults
The castle floor lies in traps
With coiled wired set back
Decoyed by old cheese
Now the drawbridge has been lifted
As the millions

They drop to their knees
They pay homage to a king
Whose dreams are buried
In their minds

His tears are frozen stiff
Icicles drip from his eyes
The cold wind blows as it snows
On those who fight to get in
On heads that are small
Disillusioned as they enter

They're unaware what's
Behind castle walls
But now it's written in stone
The king has been overthrowned
By jesterly fools
And the power of the people
Shall come to believe they do rule
They pay homage to a king
Whose dreams are buried
In their minds
His tears are frozen stiff

Icicles drip from his eyes
Welcome to the tragic kingdom
Cornfields of popcorn
Have yet to spring open
Have they lost their heads
Or are they just all blind mice
We've heard all their stories
One too many times
Hypnotized by fireflies
That glow in the dark
Midgets that disquise themselves
As tiny little dwarfs

The parade that's electrical
It serves no real purpose
Just takes up a lot of juice
Just to impress us
They pay homage to a king
Whose dreams are buried
In their minds
His tears are frozen stiff

Icicles drip from his eyes
Welcome to the tragic kingdom
Cornfields of popcorn
Have yet to spring open

Well, No Doubt IS from Anaheim. And at the end of the song is the recording from the matterhorn (well, the old recording.)

They got rid of the "permane ser sentados por favor" ?!? :sad1: That's pretty much the only Spanish I know!

It still has the same spanish part, I believe. but the english part is slightly different.

There was a big urban legend that No Doubt had been kicked out of Disneyland for being dressed inappropriately and acting strange, and that's why they wrote the song. But I don't think that it's true :lmao:

We just got back from Disneyland yesterday and finally, finally I saw a celebrity. We were waiting to board Star Tours when Brad Garrett from Everybody Loves Raymond and The Pacifier and his party were escorted to their private boarding area. No pix but he's reallly tall and very slender, looks just like a regular guy. Saw him afterwards in the gift shop, too.

I live less than 2 hours away from Disneyland and have been going there almost my whole life and until this weekend the only celebrity I ever saw was at the Magic Kingdom at WDW - we saw Lisa Rinna from Dancing with the Stars and her husband, Harry Hamlin.

BTW, Disneyland was wonderful in all its holiday splendor. :santa: We were fortunate enough to watch the flag lowering ceremony at Town Square, another first after so many visits. It was quite moving and very patriotic.

Just chiming in about John Stamos and those of you mentioning him being there a lot and that he must love it? I remember seeing him on one of the late night shows years ago and he told the story about buying the actual sign to Disneyland when they tore it out to build the new and improved DLR. He said something to the effect of "heck whereever I put it ought to be the Happiest Place on Earth, right?" ;)

He paid $30 K or something like that and bought it off of ebay.

We also just got back last night! The blond boy who plays Cory from Cory in the House was on Pirates Island on Saturday and all the young girls were pretty excited - thankfully one of them clued us in as to who he was since we're out of the age range.

We saw Brad Garrett there last Feb. We actually went through the entrance gates right next to him and his family, then saw him again later in the hub while purchasing a coffee. No special plaids with his group that trip (of course the crowds were minimal in the park that day as well).

This thread inspired us to keep our eyes open yesterday at the park. In the past we have seen some celebrities (Snoop Dong and John Ritter to name a few). Well yesterday DW spotted Diane Keaton at DCA while DD and I were riding the Sun Wheel. We caught up and was able to snap this shot.

She was with a group of kids and was dressed in a snow cap and long black coat.

We have seen

Warren Beatty
The girl who won the 2nd or 3rd survivor
Lisa Kudrow
Celine Dion--she was very down to earth & taking photos of her family on the carousel :)

So THAT's who that was!! When we were walking in to DCA yesterday, I saw a male plaid walking out with a lady who was wearing a beanie and pushing a stroller. I couldn't tell who it was because we were at an odd angle. I think she was with 2 pre-teen blond girls, too - right? I just figured one of the kids was a somebody because she was dressed down.....like, WAY down! haha

Very cool! :thumbsup2
