Hi, we want to try concierge for our next trip and are torn between the Yacht Club and Boardwalk.

Some things we would like to consider are:

The convenience of the location of the concierge rooms wrt walking to EPCOT.

The location of the concierge rooms wrt the concierge lounge.

I am assuming both have similar food and beverage offerings, and I'm assuming both are staffed with friendly and helpful CMs, so otherwise, please speak up! :)

I am also assuming that all concierge rooms at both resorts have a balcony or porch, which is a must to us. Is this correct?

Any advantages of one resort over the other (other than SAB ;)) that we need to know about?

Thanks for any help!
Jodie

Jodie, my biggest attraction to the YC concierge was the pre-planning staff. They are by far, the best that Disney has to offer. You are in luck too, because the same staff handles concierge for both the YC, BWI and BC.

I can speak from only one experience at the YC and that was this past December. The concierge rooms are all located on the 5th floor, as is the lounge and on site staff. Because of the time of year and our length of stay, I opted to go with just a standard view. That ended up being a view of the parking lot and convention center roof. We did have a full balcony and most rooms there do. The lounge was very small, but had some nice offerings. There was a balcony, but this too looked out over the parking lot.

I really liked being in the Epcot area, so I did some more investigating when I got home. I found that we would probably would have enjoyed staying at the BW a bit more. The lounge is a little nicer, better views and a few more options as far as the concierge rooms go. I'm sure someone will respond that has first hand knowledge of it though.

WE have stayed at both and the room we had at the BWI concierge over looked a service area behind the espn club. The porch was so small that it was difficult to sit and the view was of trucks makeing deliverys. It seemed like the room was miles from the lounge. Liked the YC club concierge must better.
