YC Question: Am I the Only One?

I'm not a candle person at all. Whenever I see YC in a thread title, I think the thread is about the Yacht Club (my favorite resort). I ALWAYS click on it and then I'm always disappointed. Am I the only one who does this??

Tina, I used to think the same thing. YC does mean Yacht Club on the Resorts Board, but over here on the CB it means Yankee Candle!

I can usually figure it out by the way its used. Like if it says "YC Exchange" I know its Yankee Candle. I'm sure there are times when you could get confused, like if it said, "Question about YC" then you don't know if its Yacht Club or Yankee Candle...but if it is about Yankee Candle you can always just hit the back button and pretend like it never happend

TINA, after reading your post, I feel a lot better . I thought that the entire CB was part of some cyber Yankee Candle cult . I don't give a ratsrear (sorry ratsrule) about candles .....................

I must have misunderstood the Community Board discription. You know the one that says....."Join our moderators in a discussion forum for any topic, Disney or otherwise. Swap stories, information, ask questions.....just be friendly.

I didn't think that the letters YC would cause so much confusion. Especially when put with the words like exchange, I sent/mailed my, etc.

Now if this was to happen on the Resort Board then I can see where heads would roll.
