That can't be right can it?

Priced up a week through WDTC for the first week in October - I know it's busy due to F&W but surely it can't be fully booked already - the only option is a suite at £8,500!

BC is still available... For now!

Are any more rooms going to become available do you think, or is that it now? Mildly panicking...!

A few years back we booked in May for the following May and had to change our dates by a few days as the YC was full due to a big conference. So it could be that the same had happened to you. Why not book the BC, and then keep an eye on YC availability and swap if anything comes up!

From past experience WDTC-UK only displays available rooms for the current deal.
So, from what I get, YC is sold out for your dates under the free dining offer. BUT YC is not sold out completely, if you see what I mean.

The current free dining ends tomorrow, so on Wednesday you should be able to book YC again but without FD
or, if you want the FD deal, you might need to change your dates and book fast. Or book through the US site.

ETA : availability is quite low on the US site too (made a few simulations for early october 15), so hurry up and maybe book through the US site if you want to secure YC

We re booked in the beach club first week of october. Been watching prices etc and the beach club sold out before before yacht club for our dates. Bc and yc were sold out in feb when we were there.

I couldnt actually tell te difference between bc and yc and preferred bc for loction. Do u think im missing something which makes yc better. I can change still i think!

I prefer BC personally. Closer to Epcot and has at least some limited fast food options. Apart from that and the decor they are identical. Oh. I think all YC rooms have balconies but not all BC rooms. I think.....

I love them both but YC edges it slightly because nearly all the rooms have full balconies and the lobby is more peaceful. Being further from the Marketplace doesn't bother us much, we're just a bit closer to the Boardwalk Bakery instead :-)

October every year is when the Gartner IT conference is held .......... It's huge and they generally block book hundreds of rooms at the YC, BC, Boardwalk and The Swan and Dolphin. This year there were 10,000 delegates. There are huge marquees setup around the YC and BC for them to have meals and there are generally 100s of people milling around the resorts.

They generally use The Swan and Dolphin for the main seminars and breakout sessions but what it does mean is that there are a lot of families staying at the hotels using the pool facilities during the day as they use the discounted delegate rate to stay at WDW but don't go into the parks.

During our first few days there this year from 3rd Oct to 11th Oct there was not 1 room to be had had either The YC or BC

Thanks guys :)

There was a big conference on during our last trip and it didn't really impact us - S&D was a rowdy nightmare but we've now vowed never to stay there ;)

Id be more than happy with BC anyway, the location is probably actually marginally better than YC so I'll probably just nab that to secure free dining :)
