I've heard quite a few stories like that over the past several weeks -

Wow! I know lots of people have said they would not travel internationally until this was dropped. Fear of getting stuck in a foreign country and having to pay for additional hotel nights, food etc. scared a lot of people off.

Now that they dropped this, the airfare is through the roof. Can't win.

This applies to inbound international flights to the US. For outbound international flights from the US, the destination countries still determine their COVID requirements.

I know....we let out a Woo Hoo in my house this morning.....we're traveling internationally in a few weeks. Sooooo relieved that they dropped this policy. I am hearing about a lot of Covid cases now though, and so we still plan to wear KN-95s on the flight to Cabo, but once we arrive at the resort....we can relax, because it's all outdoor dining, pool...can even do outdoor massages at the spa. Can't wait....it's been a long time since we vacationed and we really need it!

Yup...we set up appointments at the resort where we're staying....$150 per person....so glad we don't have to waste that money now.

Was hoping this was going to happen before our Mexico trip (just returned last Wednesday). It wasn’t too expensive ($23 x 5 people), but I did have that lingering anxiety throughout the trip that one of us would test positive and we’d be stuck.

I just flew home from France on Monday and nobody even checked our test results.

No one checked ours either, but I did have to upload them on the airline app.
