Yay!!!! Its Up!

Our new pool, that is!

Today we had some of my family over to help install our new pool. I cant believe how much we got done. We started out with the tracking, got the sides up, fixed the sand inside, put the liner in, and even got the top railings on the sides on. We still have to set up the filter and deck and of course, get the water in(that would help), but the basic "pool" part is up. It really looks good too. We have a cove in our yard and it fits perfectly in there. Im so excited because I never thought we would get this far without some major problems. But for now my feet and legs are killing me! I didnt even do much work, just basically ran around waiting on everyone, and chasing the kids away from the pool area. I think I need to take a jacuzzi now, Im pooped!

Good for you, it's exciting to get a large part of a project completed. Hope you post a photo when you get the water in it

Now all you need to do is to install the little "coin box" at the gate for all of the "friends" you'll suddenly have.. Probably wouldn't hurt to put in a few soda and snack machines too..

CAnn, great ideas! Ive already decided I am NOT becoming the neighborhood babysitter. I dont mind people coming over whenever, but the parents have to be there with their kids. Im nervous enough about watching my 2 in there, nevermind more kids.
