YAY I got a job at Disney

So after several interviews I finlly got hired and was given my start date. Im so thrilled that I will be working for Disney

That is true. And if your a IASW attendant, your stuck there 8 hours a day, where as if your a Character Attendant you get to be out and about all day. However, being out and about all day in July in Orlando may be tough. Maybe you should rethink the nice air conditioned, yet loopie song-ed IASW!!!!!

We hate that attraction. I use to tell grandsons if they misbehaved they would have to ride that 3 x in a row.

Im not 100% sure yet, all I know is it will be at Animal Kingdom. I have a feeling its going to down at camp from the interview however I am not exactly sure yet.

I worked as a character greeter/atttendent when I did my CP there in 2002and 2003. It was so awesome!!!! I loved it and I still miss it.

You'll love it and it's awesome to be a close friend of Mickey's.

Thanks everyone, I just cant wait. It started out as a joke when I said to my wife that I should just apply to Disney since we basically live there anyway. I did and got the job and cant wait until the 15th. Even better I got hired PT i thought id have been seasonal but they hired me in as PT.

How long was it from application to interview then from first interview to hire for you?

I applied about 1 1/2 months ago, got called in for an interview about 3 weeks ago. I believe it was a screening. They asked me a bunch of questions about what job I would like.
I got a email last week asking to call them to schedule an interview which I did. I went in yesterday for the interview and was hired pretty much on the spot. I went back today completed all the paperwork etc and was scheduled for training on the 15th.

I think you will like AK better than IASW - the hours are better. If you worked at MK, you could work very late at night.
