Yay For May Super Goofs Challenge Thread

Boy has everyone been BUSY these past few days!
I did 3.3 miles on the treadmill in 35 minutes today.
I don't really feel like I am making much difference in reducing inches/weight. On my way home from work I noticed Ann Taylor was having a sale so I popped in to check it out and to treat myself to some new spring clothes. I have gone down a pant size!! Prepregnant pants! I haven't worn this size for ten years!!!

Sorry I haven't posted for awhile.

Thursday: time 60 min
miles 5

Friday: time 60 min
miles 1.5

I greatly apologize for being a terrible team member :guilty: I have been completely stressed with work and trying to get a new job that everything has been put on the back burner. The good news is that I am now up to running 5 miles during each of my runs  Should I post my old miles/times? Or directly message princessrunner with the info, since I haven't posted in quite some time?

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY ladies!!

couple of updates, ate a bunch of junk this week that I haven't eaten since January while training for the Minnie but am back on board today...my managers did make an announcement in a meeting on Friday about me completing the race so that felt pretty good, on to the next one!!

Wednesday...40 min walk/2.6 miles

Thursday...30 mins bike/6.14 miles

Friday...30 mins bike/6.21 miles

Saturday...30 mins bike/6.02 miles

Happy Mother's Day everyone!

Just completed a local 6K (3.87 miles) in 39:44. Had a blast!

Good morning Super Goofs. I am absolutely exhausted from my weekend adventures. Long drives make me sooooo tired.

Joanne: Yay for the pant size :woohoo: Sometimes the scale does not show the progress we have made. I love, love, love smaller clothes. Although I am almost down to being a nothing (0) which disturbs me somehow...

ArelysAdriana: If you can summarize the entire month into your total miles and your total time, PM me with that. I will have to add them into the previous months. For this month, add the last week of April to your first week of May (ending the 3rd, beginning the 26th) as the spreadsheet is a little different now. You can PM me all this information. I will be doing the spreadsheet this evening.

Everyone looks like they are back at it after Minnie, and just keeping on keeping on with the rest of our mundane (non-Minnie) lives. popcorn:: I am glad to see everyone continues posting when I am gone. We all need each other for encouragement.

Today is a bike/weights day for me. Then I have to plant my garden which is way behind due to me not having the time to get it done. Yes, I even maintain my own veggies during the summer months, albeit sometimes not so well. By the end of the month, I need to get my 5K time in order as I have the Smuttynose Will Run for Beer 5K on 6/22. Chad, Joanne, Angie......are you with me??? :rolleyes1

Have a good one Super Goofs!!!!! :yay:

30 minutes of weight training
3.1 miles in 30:23 running :goodvibes
6 horrible laps in the pool so add 30 yards and about 15 minutes. yeah, 300 yards in 15 minutes. Practically treadig water. It was awful. Worse was Dh laughing at me from the other lane. Ok he only laughed when I grabbed the edge of the pool and cussed but still....

so I guess thats 1:15:23 and 3.2 miles? (rounding up)

5/8
3 miles/47 mins

5/9
2.5 miles/38 mins

5/10
5.5 miles/84 mins

5/11
1 miles/17 mins

Hope everyone had great Mothers Days!

Happy Monday (isn't that an oxymoron?).

Yesterday I did 60 minutes Aqua class. Today I wanted to run (wow-never thought I'd say that), so I did. But apparently the left knee hasn't recovered from Minnie yet so I cut it short after 1 mile (11 min) and did 20 minutes on the bike (5.75 miles)--so total 31 minutes/6.75 miles.

Good morning......I am glad it's Monday. I spent the weekend eating a bunch of crap, and I am glad it's time to stop. I was out of control! I did get to run on the weekend though!

Saturday: time 30 min
miles 3

Sunday: time 60 min
miles 5

Lisa- how can you be a size 0- yikes! I will never be a zero but I'm trying!

Three hour trail ride today. It was amazing because we went thru the town owned apple orchard and the apple blossoms were all in bloom. It was quite magical.

I will resume running tomorrow. Just a few short weeks until MCM so I have to get my but in gear!

HI

I have missed putting up some totals.

Saturday 45 minutes for 3 miles (outside with DD)
Sunday 45 minutes for 3 miles (outside again with DD)

Today/Monday 60 minutes, some time on the bike for 4 miles, remainder doing upper body strength training.

On the weekend, saturday was great, first time outside running. Sunday moring we ran before the rains.

Tomorrow is supposd to be sunny and 70, may run outside again.

Good morning Goofs! Well, the spreadsheet is FINALLY updated through last week. It is a HUGE total due to the 2 weeks combined. The months are now running from the 1st day to the last day, not by weeks so it is a little extra work for me here and there. I am going to carry May through to the 31st which is a Saturday and then start June on the 1st which is a Sunday so the first week of June will be a smaller total. It all evens out in the end no matter how we do it. We just look really good this week!!! :thumbsup2

I did not get my run in yesterday. Hip issues after my lifting session. Unexplained shooting pains that seem to be better today. We will see. I have an easy 3 miles unless I feel really good and then I may make up the mileage from yesterday. DS has a dentist appointment and then his first rookie baseball game so there are time issues today too. Tomorrow is biking and lifting. My house will be clean (cleaning lady today) so I have no worries tomorrow....unless it rains....;)

Have a good one Goofs!!! :upsidedow

HI

3.3 miles in 45 minutes on the TM

also 15 minutes of lower body strength training.

Have a great Wednesday everyone.

Hi Everyone,

Sorry have been MIA for awhile. Kid's schedules are keeping me swamped :confused3 .

5/7 3.5 miles (1 hour)
5/8 1 mile (walk with kids..better than nothing I suppose)
5/10 3 miles (50 minutes)
5/11 3.5 miles (60 minutes)
5/13 4 miles on elliptical (60 minutes)

Good morning Goofs. Today is my day off from work if you call laundry, grocery shopping and regular house duties a day off!!

I got in a 3 mile run yesterday averaging a 10:30 mpm pace. I took it easy on my hip flexor but it really felt pretty good the entire run and afterward too. :cool1: Today is strength and then a long bike ride with kidlet duty.

Everyone is doing so well. If you are reporting miles from the last week or so, I am adding them into this week. I am getting lazy, sorry for that.

Susie....are you out there....we have not heard from you since your half marathon.....:surfweb:

Good morning, a couple of updates.

Sunday...30 mins bike/6.20 miles

Tuesday...62 mins walk/3.4 miles
and 30 mins bike/5.42 miles

Happy Wednesday everyone!!!
