Yavn's quest room... DO NOT SHARE ANYTHING

I placed 5th after I was done, I could have got 3rd if I didn't dc while waiting in line to get back in the room. The answers were very difficult though.

I'm glad someone else mentioned the mules, because I posted in the
other thread that I thought I finished it quickly, but I ended up in 87th place!

My theory was that people finished, then sent mules in to finish in record
time.

I also saw people who didn't have to leave the room to continue on, as I
saw them SAYING ANSWERS while in Yavn's room! I was freaking out that
they were able to do the quest inside his room instead of going to another
room to complete the first clue.

i thought that mules were used as well the first day with the mickey quest......vmk was as slow as ever and i finished within 30 minutes but one person did it in a few minutes...i was like yeah right....more like they sent a mule in first and then did it on their main

I was playing with Alien and VanJoshing when they won and my time was getting closer to 40 minutes when the allotment for the game expired and Yavn closed it down - I had three more questions! Considering how many questions you have to answer and the room movement and the friend thing, there is NO WAY you could now do this quest without already knowing the answers. (and I kept missing the question after the make a friend question and having to go back and make friends again )

Perhaps Yavn should change the questions or not offer such wonderful prizes if he did not want the answers posted.

I had such fun with the quest when I played it for the first time, it was hard and quirky, but now it would just be a race to see who can get in the room first and type the fastest...I really don't know what the answer is. But if you are going to give Inferno as prizes, I think it makes it hard for people to resist trying to find out the answers - which takes the fun out of the game.

I got it! Instead of making friends with just anyone, he changes that question to: make friends with Yavn! And if you come back in 2 minutes, he knows you cheated!

Just Kidding!

Anyway, he did put a lot of effort into his quest and I had fun playing it. So if you like a good puzzle, and don't care if you win, give it a try.

Whether I win inferno or not, the quest was alot of fun completing and I found it amazing that it was so difficult to get someone to "friend" me!!!

I even begged a boy guest with no luck!! Someone recognized me and took pity on me and sent me a request but she now probably thinks I am a crazy person!! (Thanks Schmoofy)

Monkey did Yavn's quest yesterday -- the one for the purple rocket chair as the prize. She stayed in the room until she got dc -- when she got back on, we didn't even try to get back in his room (timer was going and we knew there would be a wait to get back in)...so we chose another room and continued the quest's last question there). We didn't get the last answer in time -- but we did knew that we would have made it in time if we were still in his room...because we would have seen other people saying the answers to the previous questions we had trouble with LOL. We searched on google after not getting a few of the questions, but the quest ended (all prizes had been given out) before we could answer the last question (if she didn't get dc, she would have made it in time).

BTW...I thought the first tip for personal quests was to have players go into a different room -- so this would give new players a chance to get in...? I don't believe Yavn did this with his first question...

Of course, had I been able to play the same time Alien and VanJoshing played, I believe I would have won. It did not take me more than 15-20
minutes to complete the quest. I know my Disney trivia. I had a blast
when I would compete in The Disney Store cast member trivia competitions.

I know I definitely would have had the advantage if I was able to play
earlier in the day. So I guess that will be good enough for me.

I wonder if he could put in a requirement that the quest can't be done in less than a certian number of minutes. So that would stop the people from doing it over and over again if it took a half hour or more just to do it.

Kind of like a timer, if you do it in less than the time you still have to wait a set period of time for the last question.
