Yankee Candles

they really do make the whole room smell lovely :)

If you burn them long enough they make the whole house smell that way too.

Well just could not wait until I seen my friend on Monday, so as I was outside TK Max today I thought it would be extremly rude not to go in and see what they had. :rotfl: I managed to get 4 , Christmas Eve, Happy Christmas, Gerdinia, and Spiced Apple, Lovely. :flower:

Spiced Apple sounds nice :) I think there is a TK Maxx in the retail park near the M5 - I might pop in and see if they have any in stock.

I bet it is lovely ~ I have the Mom's Apple Pie one and it is soooooo yummy I could eat it :)

These sound lovely.

I am frantically trying to use up some old candles as we are going to the inlaws after Christmas and there is a shop in Newport that sells them.

Ssshhh! Don't tell my DH!

I love Yankee candles too!

I have a candle warmer. Has anyone else tried them? You sit the candle a kind of hot plate (made for candles). To me it smells better than burning the candle! And the candles last longer using the warmer!

Just thought I'd pass it along.

No, it's not a tart burner. I have a couple of those too. :)

This is a candle warmer. I've been using it exclusively since I got it! It looks like a minature hot plate (only nicer). It's small, round and has an on/off switch. You plug it in and set the glass candle on the surface. It's only slightly bigger than the bottom of the candle. The surface heats up and liquefies the candle over time and it smells great. Once you turn it off the candle solidifies again over time.

I like it because I don't worry about leaving the room like I do with a lit candle. And when you burn a candle it is gone very quickly. The candles last a lot longer using the candle warmer.

Anyway, the same candle smells great every time! I've been burning my Yankee Candle, "Wedding Day" using the candle warmer for ages and it still smells like the day I got it. And there is a lot left!

I got mine at a craft store, Michael's. Come to think of it, they would be nice gifts (coupled with a candle!).

Wow it sounds fab ~ Will need to keep a look out for that ;)

I will have to look out for the candle warmer, I have the electric tart burner and I think they last a bit longer in that. At the moment I am burning brown sugar and spice. :goodvibes

I love Yankee Candles. My favourite festive one is Winterland. It's white and pepperminty and reminds me of winter walks in the woods - do I sound like Jilly Goolden? :rotfl:

I have just bought a candle warmer of ebay. The seller had lots of them, over 40.

If anyone wants the details pm and I will be happy to share them.

Neat! I didn't know Ebay had them. I should've known. They have everything!! :) Did you get the "Cozy Up" brand? That's the kind I have. I'm really happy with it.

Doesn't give a brand name on it but it looks really neat.

It is coming from the US ~ Hope it is here before Christmas. As me thinks Santa has a few YC in his sack for me :teeth:
