Yankee Candle's New Scents

Just got my catalog today!

The 4 new limited offer scents are:

Holiday Homecoming: "the enticing aroma of sweet apples and holiday berries sprinkled with cinnamon"

Christmas Jubilee: "feelings of holiday cheer fill the air with delectable scent of ginger and nutmeg from home baked creations topped with thick, creamy icing"

Balsam Forest: "slip off to a cozy holiday retreat in the woods where the clear scent of majestic firs is accented with a touch of naturally relaxing herbal flowers"

Peppermint Cocoa: "forget winter's chill...the irresistable aroma of rich steaming hot coca with a peppermint twist warms the soul"

Snow Days is also new, and is described as "a gleaming winter wonderland comes to life in the exhilarating tingle of a frost mint breeze. (sounds to me like "Jack Frost.")

I love almost any evergreen type scents--I have the glade plug in evergreen scent already but I"ll have to get a YC candle too--still can't get enough of "Mom's apple pie"!

Peppermint Cocoa that sounds like it should smell really great! It will take a lot for me to give up Christmas Wreath though. I burn that most of the year...it is just such a happy smell to me .

We discovered recently that there is now a YC store in our mall. As if they didn't get enough of our money all ready.

I was really hoping that we were getting a YC store here in town because lots of stores that carry YC are phasing them out and carrying the Colonial Candle or Virginia Candle brands.

The closest one to me is 35 minutes away in Northern Virginia at Potomac Mills.

I just found out that Sugar Plums has been discontinued!!! I may have to try a new scent for this Christmas!

It seems like they phase one 'name' out and reissue the same or similar scent under a different name, like the new 'Snow Days' which sounds just like last year's Jack Frost.

I'm wondering if Christmas Berries is anything like the discontinued Sugar Plum?

Ummm...they sound good! But I'm not allowed to buy any more YC until I deplete my current supply. DH did cleaning and had to dedicate a whole section of my sideboard to YC storage. We finished up Trick or Treat (Candy Corn smell) on Sunday and now I have my Harvest out (which was a gift from one of the YCEs). I will keep that out until it's time to switch to Christmas Eve (LOVE that scent). So many wonderful scents...

The first two sound good to me, but not the others. I'll have to try them in person, though, just to make sure... LOL!
