Yankee Candles- again!

I quite like the Home Sweet Home candle. I only burn it in December/January though because it reminds me of Christmas. At this rate the candle will probably last for years :teeth:

Wouldn't it be wonderful if you could do that on the computer

It'll probably happen one day- I'd have a go (in the privacy of my own home of course....!)

Im burning a fabulous one now called Caribbean Fruit which I just received as a gift, its wonderful, almost makes me feel like Im sitting in a hammock on a caribbean beach sipping a pina colada.......lovely :goodvibes

Me too :thumbsup2

I have never tried these candles are they really good? I have never had much luck with scented candles before they never seem to smell much! :confused3

yes the are very good, the best ones Ive tried, They may seem a little expensive, but they last for hours and your house will smell lovely.

After all the positive reviews about Caribbean Fruit, I've ordered it and Freshly Cut Roses for my mum for Mother's Day :thumbsup2

A little :offtopic: Can we buy these candles in WDW, or do we have to go off-site, I'm hoping DTD will sell them.
I couldn't find any at DD last week :(

I was also hoping to find some Mickey-shaped candles (I have a shaped candle plate for them from a previous trip), but they don't have those any more either. I think I'm going to have to order some Yankee candles to make up for it ;)

I have to say the wax tarts are the strongest scented. Last night I burned a Pecan Nut Bread one downstairs and when I woke this morning, upstairs I could smell it quite clearly. And when I came in from work at lunch time as soon as I opened the door the lovely "baking" smell hit me. I love the tarts as you can use them to try out fragrances and I love the jars but I find the votives to be a waste of time - no real scent at all.

I think I will get my mum one for Mothers Day she loves scented candles but always complains that the ones she gets don't smell of anything! What are the best ones that people have had? and the worst that I should avoid getting? :confused3

they seem to be pushing the roses one for mothers day,

though I do buy juicy cherry and cherry lemonade alot for my mum as they are great smells

I buy the tarts because I love to have several smells to swap and change :thumbsup2

My favourites, to date, are:
freesia
fresh cut roses
pumpkin pie
blueberry muffin
christmas cookie
frankincense and myrrh
home for the holidays
juicy cherry
macintosh

The only ones, that I've tried, and didn't like are:
christmas pudding :scared:
chocolate peppermint

Can't wait to try out some new ones when we go on our trip :yay:

The pecan nut one sounds scrummy :goodvibes

Don't forget, if you buy the wax tarts, you / your mum will need an oil burner
