Yankee Candle

Today I just got the new Yankee Candle 2006 Festive Fragance Collection catalog. I cant decide which ones I want. It also had a coupon on it for $15.00 off a $45.00 or more purchase.

Can you post the internet code for that? I pulled off my coupon and now I can't find that little thing! :confused3

Oops! Found it on page 4...

I LOVE Yankee Candles!!! I'm burning Cinnamon Stick and Pumpkin Pie right now. Next on my list is Autumn Wreath, my absolute favorite fall scent. My favorite winter scents are Jack Frost and Cranberry Peppermint. Christmas scents are Home Sweet Home and Home for the Holidays and Christmas Eve. Spring/Summer...Cucumber & Cantaloupe, Mint.

Just an FYI. I love Yankee candles too, and burned them all the time. Unfortunately, I ended up with major soot damage to my home. I had to do an entire repaint, replaced the ventilation system, and the carpet. Yes, I cut the wicks down the way they instruct you.

YC's, now there's a topic I can contribute to!

Want to see how bad my candle addiction is? I bought a pie safe specifically for my candles and accessories!

It can hold three rows of large jar candles on each shelf, but I use the bottom one for tealights, tart burners and other accessories.

I've never had a problem with soot. :confused3

My last three purchases were large jars in Sparkling Vanilla, Sweet Strawberry and Ginger Citrus along with a handful of tarts in fall scents.

For those who miss Seaside Holiday, Midnight Cove is a nice replacement.

Forgot to add, one of my all time favorite scents that was discointued was Orange Cupcake! Every now and then someone on Ebay will have a good number of tarts to sell and I'll grab them up. I don't care for votives, they just don't seem to have enough scent.

Do you usually have a fan or a window AC unit going when you burn the candle? We've noticed that if we have either going in the room with the candle, we will get soot/smoke.

Oh, and DW Lauri told me to tell you guys that Corporate Hallmark stores (those with the names Amy's, Matthew's and Creations) have Spiced Pumpkin, Cinnamon Stick and oh shoot.. what was the third one... Pumpkin Pie or Autumn Wreath? I forget. Anyway, they have them Buy One Get One 50% off right now.

Pumpkin Pie, Spiced Pumpkin and Cinnamon Stick. I just bought two last week.

Right now I'm burning Tricky. It's a candy corn smelling tart. YUMMY!!! A nice fall/halloweenie scent.

I have many jars and love them. But I have to say that I REALLY love the tarts. Don't know why, but I do. I actually think from now on, I'm gonna chill out on buying the jars and just concentrate on stocking up on my tarts.
I'm just waiting for my holiday catalog.

Good Lord. A girl after my own heart. This is just magnificent! :cheer2: I want one of my own! :cheer2:

I am hopelessly addicted to the Christmas Cookie scent. I would burn that all-year-round if the fiance would let me. :)

I bought the holiday three-pack of Car Scents yesterday. I figure that "Christmas Eve" scent in the car will put me in the holiday mood. :)

Impressive collection!

I just found my all time favorite candle in the back of my closet - Raspberry Sorbet. I was so upset when they retired that one. I couldn't bring myself to throw it out when the wick burned out. I just can't tell you how happy I am that I bought that candle warmer. :goodvibes

Well, guess where I'm heading this afternoon, AND I have a coupon! :teeth:

Thanks for all the info on Yankee Candles. I guess there are a lot of YC lovers here! I only have four tarts right now, but I'm going to add to that collection this afternoon. I might even buy another electric burner. I'm eyeing all those Halloween goodies!

I am so upset, I just searched for the closest YC store to me and it's either all the way over in Coral Springs or up to Boca Raton. I am so sad. I might have to drive all the way up to Boca today to get a couple Home Sweet HOme and Autumn Wreath on sale. So sad.... We have Hallmark's and Linen's and things closers but I want to go to the real store!!!!

Look I don't want to tell you what to do, and visiting a YC store is a great experience. But if you know what you want and the nearest store is a distance away, for $5.00 YC will deliver your order right to your door and you can still use the online coupons.

My nearest YC store is 40 miles away and this is what I do.

I can't believe they don't have a YC in Ft. Lauderdale. We even have one here in Martin County. I'm surprised they don't have one at Sawgrass Mall.

Another YC fan here! I am also partial to the tarts...they smell so much stronger than the regular candles. And they're cheaper! Though I did invest in an electric warmer...a must in a home with kitties.

I have Berry Crumble going right now. I had just tried Gingerbread Maple, blech!!!!!!!!

I really love the food scents too, like Berry Crumble, Pumpkin Pie (my all time favorite), and Vanilla Cupcake. I just started using Harvest as well, thats another that smells really good! Next on my list are Sparkling Vanilla and Home for the Holidays...I'm saving those as we get closer to Christmas.

If you have any specialty stores that also carry YC, you may find some scents that you can not get at the YC store or on-line. I LOVE Carribean Fruit, but it is not available through YC directly. I have to go to my local little gift shop or Bed, Bath and, Beyond if I want to get it.

I recently became addicted to Yankee Candle. It keeps our apartment smelling wonderful!
My favorite scents are Lemon Lavender, Midsummers Night, Clean Cotton, Cottage Breeze, Peach and Sweet Berries, and Home Sweet Home. :cloud9:
I recently bought some pumpkin scented tarts, and christmas wreath for the holiday season!

I'm back and instead of another electric warmer I bought a cute Halloween warmer that uses the tea lights and tarts. I'd post a picture of it, but I'm still inept when it comes to posting pics.

It's a Halloween scene with two little trick-or-treaters knocking on a door. The boy is dressed up as a pirate and the girl is dressed as a witch. The tea light holder is encircled with pumpkins and the tart goes in a little dish that hangs above the tea light. The dish hangs from the top of the doorway.

I bought three tarts- home sweet home, buttercream, and spiced pumpkin. Many of you said home sweet home and buttercream were your favorites, so I had to get them! Right now I'm burning the buttercream tart and it is a wonderful smell! :)

The store had a lot of the Christmas/holiday scents, but I'll wait until December to try those. :)

And the summertime scents smelled good, too. I loved the honeysuckle, ocean breeze and the different linen scents.
