Yankee Candle

I'm not sure what my electric burner is made of. It's new and the kind where you can take the little dish off. When I bought it, the clerk said to put the dish in the freezer for about ten minutes and then just pry off the old wax. I haven't done it yet, so I don't know how easy it'll be.

Leave it in the freezer a bit longer (15 minutes) and almost guaranteed it'll come out easier.

If you like Yankee you should try Partylite, I like them better.

I was sad when they discontinued thius scent as well! I use to mix it with Coconut Bay and then I had my own Pinacolada! It was pure heaven!!

I love my Yankee Candles. While I'm not a big fan of the floral scents, I do love all the food and fruit scents. Right now I have Harvest in my bathroom and Pumpkin Pie in the living room. I have many of the jar candles, but my favorites are the tarts.

Another fan of the food and fruit scents. My all time favorite is Macintosh. I am not a fan of floral scents because most give me a headache. If I recall correctly, when I sniffed the lilac in the store, it didn't seem as strong as other florals. Pine scents are nice for the holidays.

I love YC and that scent was a fave of mine too. I also burn a soy candle but don't remember the name of the company that makes it. I'd get a job working at my local YC store but I wouldn't come home with a paycheck much like B&BWs!

the one yankee candle that i was crazy over (i didn't even know they had it) i got in one of the exchanges on the dis. it was something -caramel, it was soooo good, but i think they discontinued it.

Btw, you can use that last little bit of wax in a jar or votive candle in the tart burner. Just make sure you don't add too much to the tart burner. You save them, indefinitely, wrapped in plastic wrap to preserve the fragrance.

As far as removing the wax, I do not the electric, but mine seems to pop right out if I break the tightness a little with a knife.

I love YC too!! Of course!! My favorites are Home Sweet Home, Harvest, Misteltoe and now Amber Wreath!!

My all time fav was Seaside Holiday. I stocked up last year when the had them out but I am running very low now. I love that one...so fresh!!

I also don't care for the floral ones, too strong for me and I don't know that I like the food ones that much. I really go for the fall and winter scents all the time!

I got so tired of trying to get the used tarts out of my burner that I stopped using it. I have 4 or 5 brand new tarts that I'll probably never use. My tart burner is made of soap stone and I've scraped the bowl up prying those stupid tarts out. I've tried freezing it and warming it in hot water and nothing seems to work.

The easiest way I have found to get the used tarts out is to light a tea light and wait about 5-10 seconds. Then pop the tart out! Works like a charm!

i can't get that code to work online... i'm not sure what i'm doing wrong...

I <3 yankee candles. I have them burning in almost every room of the house. In my burner in the kitchen is Vanilla Cupcake. In the master bath is Ribbon Candy. In the hall bath is MacIntosh & peach. I need a electric burner for the half bath so I can have one burning there as well.
