Y'all Come Back Now January 4, 2014 Wonder Final Cruise From Galveston

Our family just got off the Fantasy yesterday! She was an AMAZING ship with the BEST food we've had so far. While on the ship we booked this last Galveston sailing for a very LOW rate. When I got home last night I checked it and it has doubled in price!! CRAZY!
We have sailed the Wonder before, and this will be our 4th Disney cruise and 10th cruise overall.
We have 5 children, but are sailing only with our 7 and 9 year old (at the time). I'll go join the FB group as well.

That's what we're noticing...since opening day the price has certainly jumped on this sailing. I'm wondering how many of these are dummy bookings hoping to bump their sail date out "if" there are more Galveston sailings...
It'll be our Fifth cruise, the kids Third, Our 10th wedding anniversary and our daughter's fifth birthday. All cruises on the Magic and Wonder, and I wouldn't have it any other way!

A lot of people that I've talked with say the same thing. That the larger ships don't necessarily mean a better cruise. This will be our 5th cruise on the Wonder and our 6th cruise overall (all on DCL). We will be on the Fantasy in July so we will experience the bigger boat for ourselves.

We are hoping to be added to the thread but we hve to see of it possible for my dh to get that time off along with the time he typically pics around Christmas. We really want to sail out of Galveston but if he can't get the time then we may have to move it. I will let you know soon where we stand

We booked this cruise while we were on the Feb 5th Magic out of Galveston! We live in the Houston Area, so this is a no brainer for us! We went on the Feb 5th one with NONE of our five kids, but we will be bringing the oldest three with us on this one. It is their big Christmas surprise, and I can't imagine how I am going to keep it a secret until then!!!! They will only have 10 days to wait when they find out about it!!

Not sure we are going to sign up for the FE, but we will definitely be looking for some cool magnets!

I bet we were hanging out at some of the same spots since I'm sure you guys were also soaking up every minute of kiddo-free vacation! I actually started crying when the boat was pulling out and I saw all of the families dancing together at the pool deck. I looked at my husband like, WHAT HAVE WE DONE?? We came on a Disney Cruise WITHOUT our kids!! But we had a great time and they will be sooooo surprised on Christmas morning when we tell them. I will be even more surprised if I can keep it a secret that long.

I'll be very sad if this is indeed the last cruise out of Galveston, but thankful that we will have gotten to do two of them while they were here!

You guys didn't happen to be at the 80's-90's trivia game and dance party at Rockin Bar D the last night were you??? We were on the team that had the incident with the ice bucket!
