Anyone know when you can start making ADRs?

I think it's hilarious that nobody knows what the restaurant will serve, but people are already wanting to make reservations!

No offense meant to the OP, but it reminds me of Christmas when a kid is like "I want it, I want it, I want it!! What is it?" or "Yay, I got it! I love it! What is it?"

When I made my ADR's for Sept. last month, I asked about it and was told that the latest word they had for a projected opening date was Spring 2008. She did suggest that I call back since they had no formal notice of an opening date at that point. I've read on the Dis that it might be open by Fall 2007. When I was at AK in April, it looked a long way from completion. In other words...I have no idea, but yeah, I wanna go, no matter what they're serving!

Latest announcement on a planned opening date is 10/8/07. They are not taking ADR's yet.

Spring of 08 sound a little long for me, it can't take a year to build a restaurant.

Count me in as someone who would make an ADR without knowing the menu! AK is woefully short of TS restaurants and I enjoy a break for lunch at a TS restaurant. Rainforest cafe is not a break! We always wait and get seated in a loud busy area.

For the heck of it, I just tried to make ADR's and this is what I was told...

The system said it was opening Summer of 2007...it will seat 250 for the TS part and 350 in the CS part...

At this time, no ressies are being taken. She said that sometimes they don't take reservations until right before it opens. Once the official date is announced then I should call back. Check the WDW site once a week for announcements, is what I was advised...

I really don't care what they are serving...trying different things is one of my favorite things to do at WDW!

I just hope they are serving those potstickers in spicy broth they used to sell at the Chikarandi (sp?) take out place before they closed it in order to build the Yak & Yeti. Those potstickers were one of my favorite take out items. The potstickers over at the Noodle Station in MK are like cardboard in comparison.

I think by calling them cardboard you're offending the cardboard manufacturing industry...but honestly there is no word in the english language that can accurately describe how horrible the Noodle Station's food is much less to capture the suckiness of any one particular item on the menu.

Count me in too wanting to eat there without knowing the menu ! I can't wait for it to open. I am sure I can find something I want to eat !
