Yak & Yeti - Timing Question - Landry's Card?

I have read through a couple of threads and understand the benefit of priority seating and would love to avoid a longer than necessary wait....but I am hoping folks with experience can expand on it...

I do not have any local Landry's select restaurants...so I would be using my $25 new member benefit on this trip (don't expect to take Y&Y out of plans) to offset the cost of joining. The reality is, I hate to make a credit card payment and give my contact info to yet another company (and have to unsubscribe from another set of email ads) if I don't need to.

We have a 2:00 ADR (our preferred time) ... does eating lunch at Y&Y that "late" reduce the chance of a long wait?? Or am I going to regret not joining???

If you have an ADR, then you should be fine. People with the Select Club go ahead of everyone, but people with ADRs go ahead of walk ups.

FWIW, I joined the Landry’s Select Club in 2016, and so far, it’s been nothing but a blessing. I get Emails from them periodically alerting me to whatever specials they are running and that’s it.

Moreover, the meals we had at Y&Y in 2016 and 2017 were outstanding, among the best we’ve had at Disney. I recommend the dragon roll appetizer, the Kobe beef burger and the fried wonton dessert. Also, the Yak Attack cocktail is fantastic, and if you prefer beer, the large size is a good buy.

I agree with this. If you have an ADR, you'll be fine. I joined the Landry's Club, though I only use it in WDW as there are no Landry's restaurants near me. They rarely e-mail me, but I am totally with you on reducing the amount of information I give to companies online. The card has been great, though. I avoid making ADR's to try to keep our schedule as loose as possible, so the Landry's Card works really well for us when we tour AK and we go to WDW often, so it was worth it for us.

We have always had an ADR there and never waited more than 5-10 minutes at most to be seated. And that was at noon. At 2 pm, I would suspect it to be almost walk up. I would be surprised if you have any wait at all.

Agreed. No issues with our adr. They seated a party of 18 right before us (we are just 3), so I Thought we might be in for a bit of a wait but nope!
