Yak & Yeti or Tusker House for Dinner?

Okay guys, help us decide on our last ADR? Please explain your choice. We have an adventurous palette and will be going to Boma later in the week. Thanks.

I'd go to Yak and Yeti for dinner since you are already going to Boma. I've heard that Boma and Tusker House are very similar. But never been to Boma. Both are buffets.

Dinner at Tusker House in 2008 was wonderful. Buffet. Delicious food, lots of interesting flavors, big variety. Yak and Yeti for lunch in 2009, also great table service and delicious food. Menu has a variety of choices. I suggest looking at the menus. I'd love to eat at both! One for lunch and one for dinner. But last year we went to Jiko instead (also a great restaurant).

The best thing about Tusker House was getting to sample lots of different food. We also liked TH's breakfast with Donald Duck. The best thing about Yak and Yeti were the appetizers. The regular food was good too but I'd say that Tusker House had more adventurous flavors.

I personally was very disappointed with Yak & Yeti when we ate there this past September. You can seriously get the same food at the Y & Y counter service window.

I would pick Yak & Yeti. I enjoyed the Crispy Honey Chicken the last time I ate there.

Tusker House is very similar to Boma. I was unimpressed with Y&Y and would choose Tusker House out of the two. Unless they have changed something since the last time I was there you can save a little money by going to TH at the very end of the lunch window.

You will get such mixed reviews. Our family loved Yak and Yeti and we are going back next month. We ate at Tusker House 2 years ago and we wern't that impressed with it. So go figure! Look at the menus and decide what sounds good to you, and then you can decide for yourself.

DH and I had YY for lunch and TH for dinner on the same day in late December 2009. I preferred YY, he liked TH. The only thing I liked at TH was the prime rib and a few desserts. But we prefer non-buffet meals overall, and YY was cheaper.
