Yak & Yeti already booked for Jan 5-12!

I tried to make reservations for dinner during that time. I read on another thread that although Disney advertised no reservations being accepted until December 3, they were already available.

I called today and, of course, they are already booked for dinner that week!

I tried to call and book for April and they were not taking ressies yet. That was about November 13th.

I just booked for the first week of January. The CM said they started booking yesterday (11/30) and are booking dates in December too...

I tried booking dinner for 1/23 last night after reading here that they were taking ressies. I only could get in at 4:45 so I made them for lunch instead.

Yesterday I booked lunch on 1/6 at noon for six people. We are doing Y&Y for lunch and Jiko for dinner. Sounds like a good eating day to me

I called last night (was calling for something else and asked on a whim) for lunch for Jan. 16 and I was one of two tables left for my party size. WHEW!! So excited, we now got EVERY reservation we wanted.

I imagine the problem with dinner at Yak and Yeti is the hours at AK. AK often closes at 5PM. So I suspect the last dinner time is 5pm. Since the menu is the same for lunch and dinner, it really doesn't matter if it is lunch or dinner as far as what you will eat. So if you are trying to get a 6pm time when the park closes at 5pm, you will be out of luck - not because someone beat you to it, but because it was never an option.

Probably right. I just got 7:00 for my birthday dinner but the park is open until 8:00

I just called and was told we could not make ADR's at Y&Y until Jan 4, but since I had the info in this thread, he double-checked and said, yes, that we could make ressies, but that he had been on vacation and was not aware of the change. We are going over a holiday weekend and knew we would have to have ADR's or we wouldn't be able to eat there.

yippee~ Just got ADR'S for March 5 at 5:30pm. A little on the early side but everything between 5:30 - 7:30 were sold out already!
