Yak & Yeti ADRs.. not on computer yet

Hi, all. Just a heads up... I booked Yak & Yeti ADRs for December 16 after hearing here that the system was accepting them. Well, no trouble with booking the ADR through Disney Dining, but when we arrived for our ADR, they had NO COMPUTER at the front desk and were taking reservations for that day ON A PIECE OF PAPER. When I told them we had booked through Disney Dining, they wrote our names on the list. 45 minutes later, we were finally seated.. after people who had walked in that morning and dropped by the restaurant to make a same-day reservation.

So... you can get ADRs, but better show up at the restaurant as soon as you can on the day of, to make sure that your name is on the list. And post here to tell us when they finally get on the computer system and an ADR is really an ADR!

I have a 12:30pm for 1-26-2008. With conf#. Hope it's there. If not, we will survive on AK popcorn.

I called the restaurant directly and they took my reservation.

Last week, we booked all of our ADRs for June at exactly the 180-day mark from our first day. We were told Yak & Yeti was only available at exactly 180, not 180(+10), so we called at the 180-day mark. We were told that all parties of 10+ had to contact the restaurant directly. When I called Yak & Yeti, I was given my choice of times and told that I had a reservation for the specified date and time. I asked if there was a confirmation number or anything and was told, "No. That's all. You have a reservation." Seemed odd to me.

we booked directly though DD and have a Resv # for april, hopefully this will be cleared up by then....

If you go up to where it says Dining there is a review of Yak and Yeti. It also has this information.

The restaurant is currently in a “soft opening” phase and just opened their doors to the paying public on 11/14/2007. They are not accepting reservations until January 3rd, 2008 and will only accept walk-ups until then.

Yes I also called for June and have to wait until exactly 180 days to make an adr.
