Yak N Yeti - QS or TS Big difference in food choices?

So we love Yak N Yeti and prefer a sit down, but we're really "stretching" our TS on this next trip. (even paying out of pocket for a few rather than using our TS credits - going during the Dec Holiday week and squeezing in as much as possible)

How different is the QS menu? I assume it's more limited, but it's not listed here yet so I really couldn't compare. I'd rather save the TS since we've been there before, but looking for advice as well. Also willing to try Flame Tree - opinions on that welcomed as well.

The menus are very different. There is very limited overlap. So I think it comes down to reviewing the QS menu and considering if you'd be missing out on a favorite by using QS.

Yak and Yeti TS sit down is usually a must do every trip! The food is amazing (even if they got rid of the Salmon [my FAVORITE DISH]) and we enjoy the majority of the food!

I would definitely give Flame Tree a try if you've never been. It's a great value if you're using QS credits, and even if you're not, it's got really good and unique offerings - different from your typical pizza and burgers. The seating area is gorgeous too. We always stop here for lunch while at AK, and it's probably one of my favorite QS restaurants in all the parks!

Haven't eat at Flame Tree for years but I grab a chicken fried rice at the QS every trip. That is my go to lunch and it's more than enough food for me, as a matter of fact I never finish it. I don't do dining plan but I think it might even be a snack credit.

HUGE difference between TS Yak and Yeti and QS offerings.
We enjoy the TS meals.
We threw away our QS meal from there and now call it Yuk and Yucky
If I understand it right, they don't share anything.
TS is owned and operated by Landry and I do not believe the QS is (but not certain on this)

I was able to look at both menus here and on Disney's site as well. We'll do QS at either Flame Tree or Yak Café. Maybe we'll change our minds between now and December and decide on another TS. (of course we will - who am I kidding!)

Re Flame tree - Can u get the full rack of ribs as 1 quick service ? Just thinking for sharing?

We love both the TS and the QS y&y places. They are quite different though, for sure. We do whichever one happens to work best with our plans.

Similar question. I have a TS ADR for Y&Y for me and my mom. Both of us will probably have the honey chicken. I had it at the TS back in February and it was my favorite meal of the trip. Is the QS honey chicken the same quality and portion size as the TS? Not sure about spending $8 more per person for the same thing if there's no difference. But I don't want to end up disappointed if it's not as good at the QS.
