While I was in WDW last Summer we saw that Y&Y was being built.
Now, we are heading back down to WDW around the same time, and my mom and I are going to make our Dining Reservations soon.

We were looking at DAK, and we were wondering if Y&Y would be a good choice to eat at for lunch on our day at DAK. Is it open yet? If so, what type of food to they serve and is it good?

Any information reguarding this restaurant would be greatly appreciated, as for I have heard nothing about it yet.

We ate there a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it! I had the shrimp and shrimp and it was wonderful. My sister had the honey glazed chicken & really enjoyed it.

Did not eat at the sit-down, but I thought the counter service was pretty gross and way overpriced. Overpriced does not bother me that much, but the food was a step below panda express. The fried rice was OK. Steer clear of the shrimp lo mein.

TS there was one of the worst meals I have had on/off property. I ate there 2/3 weeks ago, and have no intention of giving them a second chance. (that is rare for me, I usually go atleast twice to judge a meal and service). I had the shrimp and steak as my entree. There was no crisp to the tempura, no jasmine that I tasted in the jasmine rice, the veggies were greasy, over sauced, steak was edible, but not enjoyable. The potsticker app I order was served too oily (cooked in wrong temperature oil and not drained). Service was horrible. Both the waitress and the manager were boderline flippant about my food allergy. All in all it was a bad meal.

We ate there last weekend and loved it, full review and pics are in my signature.

Very good food and if you eat at 4pm you can request the window room that overlooks the parade, it was a killer view!

I was there in May. I had the ribs and my sister had the steak and shrimp. Both were very tasty and well prepared. For dessert I had the pineapple/ cream cheese wontons and my sis had the brownie sundae. These were YUMMY!The service was great. We had a 2nd strory window seat overlooking the park. I would definitely go back again.

The atmosphere is great. The service was good. The menu had a decent amount of choices. The Asian salad was like bag of salad with carrots and almonds added. The dressing was fine but a bit bland. The won ton soup was fine. Not great. Not bad. Broth was goods but the won ton were a bit bland. The maple tamarind chicken was fine enough. Not great. Not bad. Veggies and rice were just okay. I would try it again as I would like to try more of the appitazers and I did like the feel inside but they may need to notch up the "Asian" flavorings a bit.
Here are some interior photos from my May trip.

Thanks for the pictures. We are passing it by this trip for Boma, but I did wonder what it looked like on the inside.

You can go walk around it if you want to.

We ate here last January and loved it! We really liked the food and the atmosphere and service were also good.

We ate there a few weeks after it opened. The food was great! I had the Pho. Too many shrimp to count and great add on sauces and veggies. My husband had the chicken lo mein, ok but nothing unusual.

Yes, it is a bit pricey; but what at Disney isn't? The atmosphere is absolutely wonderful.
