great data mining. Curious how many contracts were sold in total for the live inventory resorts: RRV, PIT, CFW, VDH, AUL

I can’t take credit for those numbers. That was just detail in an August direct sales article on one DVC site.

And while I can’t help you for the other resorts, this thread has a complete tracking of all CFW sales to-date. They list 23 FWs at CFW on 791 total contracts sold!

At ~3%, that sounds higher than most resorts, but to me it makes sense. CFW sales have been slow, but those who have bought know what they want. 9 out of 791 contracts are FW43!!

Hi all! I've been following this for over a year and finally pulled the trigger on week 43 Riv standard studio. We are really a 1 bed family now but I figured soon (14 years or less) the kids will have other things and so my husband and I can do food and wine/halloween for a week just us. Until then, 306 points every other year gets us any 2 bedroom (we also have aulani, AKL and a tiny DLH contracts). Thank you for all the advice... initially I wouldn't have even thought about FW but with Riv restrictions who knows what studio reservations will look like when the resort sells out. I feel good we will at least have a studio reserved for our favorite time of year every year.

Ok, I'm a fan! We just got back from FW39 PIT TPV Studio (I know, not 43), BUT... It was wine and dine (we drank around the world for the first time) and it was cooling down and this year was 3 of 7 days in Oct. We checked out MNSS Halloween Party for the first time and absolutely loved it! Boo to You Parade and the Not So Spooky Spectacular were outstanding, we haven't enjoyed parade and fireworks this much since I don't know how long. We got room 8852 at PIT and the view was jaw-dropping. We got two firework spectaculars to enjoy over the week from a near-dead-center balcony! I was never one for paying a premium for the view, but it was well worth it!

I agree, it's a great week, (apparently and especially at CFW ) and will definitely try it out soon by banking or borrowing a few additional points to make it happen (we just bought FW50 at CFW). I really wanted to tour the area at night (to see HW lights) but my guide said tours were only given between 8am and 4pm.
