I have always said that it was ironic that the park which promotes animal conservation is so poor at offering veggie choices! And with Tusker House turned into buffet, there is one less counter service option for us. I have never eaten at Flame Tree, and I don't eat American pizza, so I really doubt that I will be eating counter service any time soon in AK...
BUT I do foresee trying Tusker House at least once
I completely agree! It's so weird that AK's restaurants are all about eating animals!
TH seems like "Boma lite" so I could see myself eating there. I know there is a veggie burger at Restaurantosaurus, but I say bleah to those things. I only eat them at WDW if I'm really hungry, because the parks only have soy Boca-type burgers. Bleah. And the pizza at Pizzafari doesn't look appetizing. Flame Tree seems to only have a fruit plate. Yeah, that'll be filling.

Usually after visiting AK I go to AKL and buy hummus and pita chips at the Mara - I convinced them to put them on the menu, and they apparently are a very popular item...
Excellent idea!
