I have arrived. Checked into Surfside a little while ago. They surprised me with an upgrade to a suite. The room is really cute and is my favorite color.





I also have a pool view.



For tonight I am just going to get dinner at the hotel and then spend the rest of the evening in my room. Tomorrow I plan to hit the Studios in the morning then IOA in the afternoon. I have a ticket for Epic on Sunday. Hopefully I can get in some park time around the rain.

We love the Surfside suites, Charade. Little one and I get our own tv, and separated rooms to sleep in, and a real refrigerator, and nice large picnic table to eat off of. Glad you made it, and was upgraded. We thought the food inside the hotel was fine, and certainly edible. We are eating at our hotel’s fast food place for dinner too. Since we are staying here, we can mobile order. So we did, and waiting for our food to be ready. The cook to order there, and I like the kids meal there. So late dinner order, as had a big enough lunch at Earl’s.

Back after our target run, and chilling the rest of the night. Maybe we will get to early entry, tomorrow, as our only time we most likely will do so.

This day just keeps getting better. I went to Starbucks for a drink and the cashier gave me a free cake pop.

Beautiful sunny start to the day, didn’t make early entry, but arrived around 9:30. in Epcot, rode Soaring with a 10 minute line, saw land at 20, and said a coffee and relaxing in connections was the best next thing to do. And quite the line for Starbucks, but it tends to move fast. When the kitchen opens for lunch soon, I assume we will mobile order and eat here.

Lots of tables open right now, but did score a clean enough black table on the second level. Great seats as can see the Starbucks and shelves with items related to coffee on one side, and people outside strolling on the other side. Will get more busy when food opens.

Ack, little one still not got to the ordering register. Eh, coffee with food is good enough in my book, will also order ice water cups too.

Saturday is here. Woot! Weekend too. Woot Woot!

Beautiful night for Friday Night Lights yesterday

Very pretty. Not sure if going to work it in this trip, always December!

Always great when you can save some money. Now you have extra cash to do a little more shopping.

Haha, the mr usually equates the savings to # of beers, I’m of the CS lunch equation.

It’s dropped twice again, so surprised this year. Today bounced up $2 a night lol

Janet hope all your travel plans are in order and you and Dave have a smooth flight into Orlando. Couldn’t remember when you all were going, but thought it was pretty close to when I was leaving.

Well, we have flights down on Monday booked on Spirit (caught a sale, scary with bankruptcy & possible cancellations), so I also am sitting on a RT SWA flight.

Will cancel it as booked under old policy. Normally, nothing I’d do. However, even in the best of days, Spirit has cancelled flights on us while sitting in the airport. Nothing to do with weather, once staffing working too many ours & equipment issue another time. Call me gun shy.

Still, the parking is free there, in the airport that is surrounded by cow pastures. It was just too tempting not to book it. After this round, will wait until the dust settles on whatever re-organization.

Thanks y'all. I just arrived at the airport and have time to kill. I should have brought a book.

Only time I was given a freebie @ SB is when my youngest worked there…he’d bring home the stuff in the case that was expiring the next day. Ummm, thanks? Lol. it was always fine to eat the day of or the next. They have a lemon bread that is very good.

I survived a few hours at UO today. It is just too hot and humid for my comfort. I did a few rides and saw some shows. Everything was walk on. I also stopped by to see the Scooby Gang. Lunch was a disappointment. I got a smoked brisket crepe and discovered that they had changed the recipe since I last had one. It's not as good as it was, and they've added corn.

I'm now back in my room for a little while. I was hoping to watch my university's football game, but don't get the channel.

It is nice for a budget hotel. The walls are a bit thin, but fortunately my neighbors haven't been too noisy

I'm going to venture over to IO later. Hopefully dinner will be better than lunch was.
