Yak and Yeti Counter Service

I was checking out the menu for the Y & Y Counter Service and I have a question for those of you who've eaten there:

Are the portion sizes suitable for one person, or are they large enough to split? I notice that the prices are slightly higher than at other CS locations, but it sounds appetizing and we'd like to try it.

We were their last November and I honetly don't think the portion sizes were big enough to share - I agree with the prices being higher too.

We weren't that impressed TBH but it hadn't been open long so it may have improved.

Definitely not big enough to share! We spent a fortune and left hungry!

We got 2 eggrolls and a carton of chicken fried rice for 2 snack credits. The rice is a large portion, the eggrolls are normal size.

We did a CS lunch here about a week and a half ago. Everyone was thrilled about the prospect of having something other than pizza, burgers, or chicken nuggets . I'd have to agree with pp that the food looked better than it tasted . DSs 10 & 16 both ordered the Honey Chicken with no veggies & sauce on the side and thought it was okay, DD-14 & I both ordered the Sweet & Sour Pork (wish I had ordered it without veggies too... way too much bell pepper for me) and thought the pork was way overcooked. DH had the beef dish, I forget the name, and thought it was just okay. We had plenty of CS credits left so everyone got their own portions, however, the 2 boys could have easily shared (both had leftover rice & chicken) and given we also had dessert, DD & I could have shared. Of course, it felt like it was 100 degrees out (oops, sorry it was really only 95 ) and there with no place to escape from it, no one could really eat that much!
